Story
I got Abby from a friend who could not keep her. I have only had here for a short time, but she is a great dog and has fit in great here with my two male dogs. I wish I could keep Abby, but I already have two dogs and cannot handle a third one. She is a very sweet dog and would make a great addition to a good home. I can pay/help pay for Abby's vaccinations and micro chip

Story
Lyanna loves to run, chase a ball, hike, and nap on the couch. She is very affectionate and sweet to her people. We love her very much and are excited for her to have a new home where she will be free again to enjoy life! We rescued her in 2016 in Seattle when she was 1. She has been a joy in our life; we have had so much fun together. She does however have one behavioral issue that we have tried and failed to correct. She is protective of us, her parents. When guest come over, she needs to be put in her own space or she will try to herd people by nipping at their feet when they walk. We dealt with this and it is/was manageable without issue. However when we had our first boy it became more of a constant issue. With our second now here, Lyanna spends her waking hours inside her fenced-off area in the living room. So we want to find her a home with no kids and no other pets where she can be free and happy again! She has never shown this herding behavior when we aren’t present

Story
Remi is a male 3year old large dog. He was found on the side of the road at a rest stop malnourished with mange about 6 months old. He has been with our family for about two years. We have children and another dog. You can tell he had an abusive troubled start to life, but he's come a long way. However I want him to have the very best life and I think he'd be better suited in a quite home. Our home is busy and loud so he constantly in a heighten state. I'd love for him to find a state of calm. He has a fear of men at least men with dark eyes and would benefit from being a solo dog. He's good on walks but rather sleep all day and cuddle.

Story
Hi my name is River. I am an amazing 2 year old pup! Unfortunately I want a doggie divorce from another dog in my home. After meeting with 2 trainers/behavior specialists it has been recommended that I go to a new home in order to be happy. I would like a home that is more calm so to be the only dog or with a calm female would be great and no kids would help so that I am not anxious by new people or lots of coming and goings. I do warm up to new people in about 10 minutes but kids may not understand that I just would rather be left alone while I sniff out the situation. Probably no cats. I have seen a doggie psychiatrist and am on anti-anxiety meds to help me with the transition to a new home and these meds might help me long term. I am great on walks, love to play fetch, and am very calm - liking to just chill with a bone or toy. My family is sad this is what is needed but hope that in a new home I can be happy! Going to a shelter would make me anxious so hoping new home!

Story
Pablo was born on June 9, 2023. We adopted him at the Pikes Peak Humane Society on August 9, when he was almost 8 weeks old. He is now 1.5 years old. Pablo weighs around 26-28 lbs. He typically uses medium gear (e.g., collars, vest for leash, etc.) He is muscular and sleek. He is truly a handsome dog. He is intelligent, fast, happy, and playful. He loves to fetch, run, and hike. He loves a game of tag/chase. He also jumps and would be an excellent frisbee dog. Pablo has always lived in the house with us. He is crate-trained and has a large pen, both of which come with him, and two beds, blankets, toys, retractable leash, hiking leash/vest, hygiene items, food, etc. He rarely barks. We are looking to re-home Pablo because we are moving into a home with a much smaller yard. We are sad, but we hope to find the right home for him forever! Adoption fee: none
