Story
I saved Koda from SEACCA at the Downey shelter on the euthanasia list. Please help me find a forever home for her. She is about 18 months and gets along with other dogs. She is crate trained and is learning the basic commands. I will help you train her if needed. She is a sweetheart with a good temperament. Please let me know if you would like to meet her or if you have any questions. If the new owner goes on vacation I will be happy to babysit. Please ask your friends, colleagues, and anyone you know who loves animals. Should the new owner need assistance in taking care of her in the future, arrangements can be made for Koda. Thank you.

Story
Meet Max! He is looking for his new family to love him, play with him, and make sure he’s eating good food! He is a good boy who is very friendly with his family. He can be a little timid when he meets new people, but after you’ve introduced them and he knows they’re safe, he loves them! Max originally came from China as a rescue from the meat festival. He is 5 years old and he’s been in his current home since he was 4 months old. Sadly, we are moving to a new place that doesn’t allow dogs. He has lived with cats his whole life. He is not overly excited to hang out with cats, but he gets along with them just fine. He is not super affectionate- meaning he is not a lap dog. He does like to sit next to you, but he doesn’t like to cuddle. He doesn’t get mad, he just gets up. He likes to sleep in bed with his owner. He loves walks, watching squirrels, and going on walks. He’s potty trained and would like a back yard. He’s never bitten anyone. He’s a sweet, good boy!

Story
We adopted Millie four years ago in Austin, Texas when she was just over a year old. We don't know her history before that. She is easy to walk and only goes bathroom on grass or dirt. She is an extremely timid and loyal dog, to a fault. Since I spend a good amount of time at home, she likes to follow me everywhere. When I leave the house she self-soothes and just relaxes on her dog bed. Since we moved to California in May, she has had difficulty sharing the space with another calm dog. She gets very jealous and reacts to other people or pets coming near me. She has never bitten anyone. My wife and I just welcomed our first child, and since we cannot trust her, it's time to let her go to another more appropriate home. I am looking for a home without other pets or small children for Millie. She does not do well in kennel environments with other dogs. We tried to board her over the holidays and she ended up refusing to eat for a week. She does well with dog sitters or foster.
