Story
Disco was originally adopted from Humane Society of Alameda County. She came from Hawaii before arriving in California. She is currently living with an elderly Chihuahua and 4 cats. Disco has a fun loving personality and has lots of young dog energy. She loves walks, hikes, and playing fetch at the park. She enjoys meeting new friends at doggie park and is crate trained. Unfortunately her owner is no longer able to care for her and so we are in search of a new forever home. Disco would do best with another playful pup companion and lots of yard space to play.

Story
Gus is an energetic 2 year old dog who is on a mission to befriend anyone he meets. He is playful and enjoys the company of other dogs, cats and people. He is a high energy dog that needs lots of exercise but also enjoys hanging out around the house from time to time. He would do well in an active home or with another pet. Gus loves to go on walks everyday and reacts well to strangers. He is very affectionate and always asks for belly scratches. Eager to shower his affection on a loving family, this sweet boy is eagerly awaiting his forever home!

Story
Casey is a sweet and loyal dog with forever puppy energy. She loves being outdoors and her very favorite activity is swimming. She will swim for hours. She also likes retrieving objects or trash from the ocean and bringing them ashore. She is great off leash on hiking trails and loves playing fetch at the park. She is friendly with other dogs but people are her true love. She absolutely loves people. And food or treats. She is sweet and patient with our 18-month old as the toddler explores her boundaries and pulls on her ears and tail or pats her a little too hard. She loves exercise but doesn't need it as much as when she was a puppy; if she is stuck indoors she just sleeps or rests. We got Casey on the East Coast when she was about 6 months old. We have loved having her in our family but don't have the capacity and resources to care for her as much as we did before we had a human baby.

Story
Roxy is a very sweet dog. She loves to take walks and retrieve and fetch pinecones and tennis balls. She usually likes to carry two in her mouth! She tends to be timid around other dogs. Sometimes she makes friends but often she just wants to stay to herself. She would rather carry her pinecone or tennis ball and does not want to play. She is a very loving, affectionate dog. I've had Roxy and her sister since they were eight weeks old. They are both now 3 years old. I believe that I've taken very good care of her and given her lots of attention. I am sad to look for a new home but I'm the only dog walker in the house. Having two young dogs is too much for me. Roxy: sweet, loving, intent, single minded when it comes to pine cones, elegant, sometimes needy. Roxy would do well with a one or two adult home, someone who enjoys playing with a dog and wants to take good brisk walks and then come home and snuggle. Best if there are no other pets so she gets all the attention.

Story
My 16 year old son Isaac found scar around march of this year, scar was about 1-2 months olds. I would not allow the pet in our apartment so Isaac took him to a friend’s. Around August scar was attacked my an older female ( who may have been his mother) when she had puppies. Scar has his shots and has been weighed in sept 2024 he was 60 lbs and 6-7mos. Scar loves to hike and get treats and to have his but scratched. I love scar but I’m too busy to give him what he deserves and my son isn’t up to the responsibility. Scar is a little piece of heaven and I want him to be with an active family with a back yard. 😢
