Story
Matilda is a sweet, smart girl who needs an active home. We think she's about a year old. She was picked up by a rescue and adopted by a woman with mobility issues. She developed some bad habits due to boredom and when the owner went to return her to the rescue, they had shut down. The shelters in our area are all full and most of the cities around here have bans against any dog that looks remotely like a pitbull, so we took her in 4 months ago to keep her from being put down. She learns quickly and is a great dog as long as she gets physical and mental exercise daily. She has been great with our dogs and at doggy daycare. I don't know if she's ever been around cats or kids. I think she'd be fine with kids, though I'd worry about her knocking them down if they're really little. She knows basic commands, is kennel trained and potty trained, and walks well on a leash. We're in central Arkansas and are willing to drive up to 4 hours to meet people interested in giving her a forever home.

We found Tank on the side of the road. He is over a year old. He is very sweet and loves to play. He still has some puppy energy but also loves to nap in the sun and sit outside and watch. He only barks when people or other animals get to close for his liking.

Story
Positives: potty-trained, very sweet and loves to cuddle once he gets to know you, knows sit, shake, stay, and leave it, not food-aggressive around people, loves to wrestle and play-fight, will listen if told to calm down, loves to get the zoomies, a morning, afternoon and evening walk for 30 - 60 minutes seems to satisfy him, crate-trained ("go to your room"), can be left alone without having an accident Negatives: EXTREMELY shy and skittish personality, will need time to warm up to new people and pets, is sometimes food-aggressive around other dogs, has a high prey drive, semi-trained on the leash, gets extremely excited around animals and people, needs access to chew toys or he will destroy things, I would recommend putting him in his crate when alone or unsupervised until he gets comfortable so he doesn't chew on anything

Story
Buck is a 3 year old male mixed breed dog. He was adopted around 8 months old and had gone through basic training. After getting acclimated to his new home, he passed his Canine Good Citizen test and then went on to become certified as a therapy dog through Love on a Leash. Buck lives at home with two adults and two small children. Due to our family increasing with a new baby on the way and inability to give Buck as much attention as he needs, we need to rehome him. Buck has shown some changes in behavior we feel are due to We are looking to rehome Buck to a loving person who preferably has a lot of space for him to roam and/or time to reinvest in training or other activity. If interested in taking him in or if you’d like to meet him first please reach out!
