Story
My dog is really sweet. He is 6 years old. My issues are that he barks a lot (we use a bark collar) and when he gets excited he jumps on you. I believe he could be trained but we did not work on that. I am 66 and my husband is disabled. I need to have knee replacement surgery and I need to rehome him before I can do that. He is large and has just gotten too much for me to handle. I used to walk him and take him to the dog park but I broke my ankle the last time I walked him and he gets to unmanageble with excitement for me to carry him to the dog park now with my knee issue. He is a really fast runner. I feel he needs someone younger who can walk him and take care of him. He has a "blankie" that he sucks on I think to help with anxiety.

Story
Meet Reese. He is a very loving and friendly dog. He has been an amazing family dog for us. We are sad to see him go but we are not at a place in life where we have the time to care for a dog. We would love to find him a loving home!

Story
We adopted Madison and her litter mate brother 2 1/2 years ago as puppies. They have been great together and with our other older dog for years. Recently Madison and her brother got into a fight and since then have not been able to get along together. We have tried various medicines from our vet but they take up to several weeks to kick in. With 3 kids and 2 other dogs to deal with we don’t know what else to do.

Story
My husband and I adopted Leia in February 2024. Leia has been a wonderful dog. She is extremely smart (only took two days to potty train), has learned simple commands by myself (down, wait), and has been very kind to my handsy two year old. We also have an elderly dog that she is sweet and patient with. Unfortunately, our family is moving to a townhouse with no yard and with our busy schedules we feel it would be unfair to keep her crated all day with no yard to play in. Leia loves to run around outside and sunbathe in the grass. She would no longer be able to do this once we move and she would be in her crate 10 hours out of the day on average. We do not think this is fair to her and believe there is the perfect family for her out there that could give her the attention she deserves.

Approximately 1 year old. We were told he was a poodle/maltese mix. We unfortunately cannot keep him due to having a large family that keeps us very busy. He’s very sweet and loving. Has been a great dog.
