Story
Penny is a 19 month old Brittany/Hound mix. She is UTD on vaccines, microchipped, Heartworm negative and on preventative.  She minds her foster mom really well and has great recall. Penny knows the command sit and is working on stay. She is not very vocal and does not bark much. She loves running in the yard and is good with other dogs. Penny loves her toys and she also loves treats. Penny is a very healthy girl. Penny's foster mom says she is not destructive and loves to lounge in her dog bed. Because she gets overly excited, Penny jumps on people, but her foster mom is working with her.  Because of her jumping, Penny will not be a good fit for a home with small children.  Penny is being fostered in Tennessee. Her adoption fee is $325.00 and can be transported up to 1400 miles via our Canine Railroad with the adopter taking the last leg, usually less than 100 miles.  Applications for Penny can be found on www.nbran.org.  For more information, email dltuthill@epbfi.com or ztasuzanne@gmail.com.  October 4, 2024, 9:54 pm

Story
Meet Remy a sweet 4 year old Orange & White spayed female currently in a great foster home in Northwest Georgia who is dreaming of a Home of her very Own!  Remy is a beautiful and playful girl whose smile can brighten even the darkest of day. She is also a trickster with a great sense of humor who loves to play games with her foster, go for adventurous car ride or simply relax while chewing a bone or being petted.  Remy loves to be the center of attention and certainly prefer people over other animals, especially other dogs. So, Remy is looking for a new home where she will be the ONLY dog in the home. Remy’s new home will also need to have a physically fenced yard to help keep her safe. Remy walks well on a loose leash but will need continued training as her foster says” some days are better than others,” due in part to her wanting to smell everything, as well as, Remy does have a strong prey drive and loves to chase critters including pesky flying things like flies.    Remy is completely up to date on all vaccines, heartworm negative, micro chipped and spayed, so now all that’s missing is a place to call Home Forever! Is that your home? If so, please consider filling out an application online at: http://nbran.org/adopt/adoption-application, Once you application is received the coordinator in the State where you reside will be in touch to follow-up. Need to reach your State Coordinator, find their contact information here http://nbran.org/about/state-provincial-coordinators Remy’s adoption fee is 400.00 which will help NBRAN cover the vetting costs and other expenses associated with bringing Brit like Remy back to good health and readying them for adoption. Don't live in Northwestern Georgia or close by, No Problem!  NBRAN also has a wonderful transport team willing to help bring Remy to her new family, up to 1400 miles with the adoptive family being responsible for the last 100 miles, at no additional fee. Still have questions? Contact PA Regional Director Chris Eddinger at ceddinger@verizon.net  October 4, 2024, 9:54 pm

Story
Meet Remi Rem: The Handsome Fun-Loving Brittany Boy! Hello out there! My name is Remi Rem, and I’m one of the handsomest lads around—just look at my 51 lbs of orange and white roan beauty! I’m 5 years old, neutered, and all set with my vaccines. I’m heartworm and tick negative, and I’m on prevention, so I’m a healthy boy! Crate trained. Housebroken. (Not good with Chickens) Why You’ll Love Me: Playtime Pro: I love toys, daycare, and playing with other dogs. I’m a pro at having fun! Leash Champ: I’m great on a leash, so we can go on walks and adventures together. Gentle Communicator: I get along with other dogs, but if I’ve had enough, I’ll let them know with a gentle grrr—no fuss, just boundaries! Critter Chaser: Give me a yard with a fence, and I’ll hunt down all those critters and chase balls to my heart’s content! (Fence needs to be wrought iron or privacy.) My Dream Home: I’d love a family to call my own. I can be with or without another dog, but if there’s a sibling, they need to be laid-back like me. We can play tag, explore the yard, and live our best lives together! If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion who’s ready for action and affection, I’m your guy! Let’s make every day an adventure filled with love and play! Remi Rem is ready to find his forever home, could it be with you? The adoption fee for OK/Remi Rem who lives in Tulsa, OK  is $350,  which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making Remi Rem  part of your family, please complete the on-line application by visiting www.nbran.org .  Contact the South Central Region Coordinators Chris Wagoner at cwnbran@gmail.com  , Melinde Waddle at macgammy@gmail.com and/or Nancy Walker at nwalker@capecod.net  and then let your state coordinator know so we can get the ball rolling.  A phone interview, home visit and vet check will be required as part of the approval process by your state coordinator, before talking to the foster of Remi Rem. Transportation can be arranged up to 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.      October 4, 2024, 9:54 pm
