We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2059610##

Story
Name: Gaston Breed: Lab/Pointer Mix Gender: Male About Gaston: Gaston is a 4-year-old Lab/Pointer mix with boundless energy and a heart of gold! This friendly guy loves to be on the move, whether it’s taking long walks, playing fetch, or running with joy. Gaston’s enthusiasm for life is matched only by his friendliness towards people and other dogs. Good on a leash and well-behaved in the car, Gaston is ready to join you on all your outdoor escapades. He’d thrive in a home that loves adventure and has plenty of time for playtime. Ideally, he’d love a family with another dog to play with and kids who can keep up with his zest for life. Rescued from the streets of Tlajomulco, Gaston was found skinny and searching for food, but his noble and kind spirit remained intact. Now, he’s looking for a forever home where he can share his energy and affection with a family that loves the great outdoors as much as he does. They are currently in Mexico awaiting a family committed to a 10-day trial. If interested, please apply at www.northwestwagrescue.org. The adoption fee is $550 and includes up-to-date vaccines, a negative heartworm test, spaying/neutering, and microchipping. ##1837595##
