Story
If you would like more information about Nash or are interested in adopting him, please contact this number, 346-217-2721 Nash is an upbeat and friendly puppy. I recently came across a post saying his owner was going to put him down due to the simple fact of not wanting him anymore. I later learned he was abused and left outside since 1 month old. Over the month I’ve been fostering him he’s been coming out of his shell. He truly is a big baby who just wants to sit on you and get loved on. He is a very high energy puppy and loves to play with you. He has pretty bad separation anxiety and needs an experienced owner. I think Nash would pair well with someone who likes to explore outdoors. Story
Hi, my name is Mario and I, along with my 2 siblings, were found as strays and ended up at a high-volume shelter.  A SCP volunteer stepped up to foster us and help us to find our new forever homes. I'm still young, estimated DOB 6/17/2024 and may have some pointer or hound in my ancestry. I'm learning so much now that I'm in a home with kids, other dogs and cats and I love everyone. I love to be held and petted, give kisses, and play until I drop.  I'm just a puppy and can get into a lot of trouble so you'll need to be willing to give me lots of gentle guidance, so I can learn all those big dog things, like how to behave in a house, what a crate is for, how to walk on a leash without pulling, and all those verbal commands every dog should know. I may even treat people like I treat my sibling with rough play or decide that a new pair of shoes or a table leg would make a great chew toy, so a lot of appropriate toys should be in my future. The good news is that with the right training and LOTS of love, I'll be the best addition to your family ever and your best bud. If you are interested in me, please send an email to SCP at scpdogworld@gmail.com so that the Dog Coordinator can let you know if I'll be at the Saturday Adoption Event at Petco.  Applications can be found on our website at secondchancepets.org under the "Forms" tab. Please complete and return to SCP for review!  The adopter for this dog must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit may be required prior to this dog going to any home. The adoption fee for a dog is $190 (or $245 for puppies). All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas. Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Clear Lake Petco, 2410 Bay Area Boulevard. All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas. Since all our dogs are in foster homes, an individual dog may not be at our weekly Adoption Event due to conflict with a foster's schedule. If you just want to meet some great dogs looking for their forever home, please come visit with us on Saturday!November 16, 2024, 6:17 pm
