Story
Hey there, I'm Dahlia, and I've got a tale to tell as a 6-month-old Mountain Cur mix pup. My adventure kicked off when a kind soul in our community found me – a tiny furball bursting with dreams – and decided to give me a shot at a brighter future. They often call me a sweetheart, and I wear that title with a big grin. Love is my jam, and I'm always ready to share it through cuddles and kisses. If you're after a loyal buddy, I'm your girl! Now, when it comes to fun, I'm all about it. Wrestling and playtime? Oh yeah, sign me up! Hand me a squeaky toy or a ball, and I'm in puppy paradise. Tug-of-war or a game of chase in the yard? My tail wags like crazy. Spreading joy and laughter is my special talent. But here's the insider info: I'm a relaxation pro too. After all the excitement, I know how to chill. Long naps are my thing, and I can snooze anywhere, as long as it's comfy. Cozying up with a soft blanket or a plush toy is pure bliss. Now, what makes me stand out is my potential. I'm a quick learner, always up for pleasing my humans, and I'm already showing signs of being an awesome companion. If you're on the hunt for a pup with loads of potential, look no further. So, here's the deal. If you're ready for a fantastic journey filled with love, learning, and growth, don't wait around. Apply today to meet me, Dahlia. I promise to bring endless smiles, tail wags, and unforgettable moments to your life. Let's create some pawsome memories together! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143November 4, 2024, 10:52 am

Story
Meet Beaux: Our Brave Mountain Cur Mix! We’re thrilled to introduce Beaux, a sweet female Mountain Cur mix with an incredible story. Beaux showed her smarts and courage when she literally jumped into a police officer’s car at the police station here in Shreveport. She seemed to know exactly where to go for help, and thankfully, she found it! The kind officer let her rest in the car for over an hour while she recovered from exhaustion. Beaux happily gobbled down some dog food before they reached out to us, and we were more than happy to welcome her into the Pet Savers family. At her first health check, we found that Beaux is at a great weight and has strong, healthy teeth. She does have some skin issues caused by mites, but we’re already on it—she’ll get the care she needs, and we’ll help her coat grow back shiny and beautiful! We’ll also schedule a full vet check soon to make sure she’s in tip-top shape. Beaux doesn’t have a microchip, so we’re holding her for now while we search for her original owner. In the meantime, we’ll make sure she’s loved, safe, and cared for. A huge thank you to the officer who helped this sweet girl in her time of need. Beaux’s journey is just beginning, and we’re so excited to be part of her story! #RescueDog #PetSaversFamily #ThankYouShreveportPD #AdoptDontShop November 20, 2024, 5:38 pm
