Story
Declan is estimated to be 4 months old and a lab mix. We do not know who his parents were so these are guesses based off experience and does not guarantee the breed. Declan came to Gigis at just roughly 5 weeks old. He did go to a foster to adopt home but they have changed their minds and he is back with Gigis, looking for his perfect forever. Declan is a smart fully vetted and neutered male. He loves to stay busy. If interested in meeting Declan, see below for application. https://airtable.com/appcqQGnAUlgNcf92/shruX8uIalTUTpdg4

Story
Razzle Taz has the most beautiful coal black eyes that pierce  your soul as he stares at you begging for some love and attention.  This boy was taken from an abusive family who were bragging to co-workers about kicking and tying him up.  The co-worker contacted Critter Cavalry and we found a wonderful foster family that is spending time loving on him and polishing his dog manners.  He is the sweetest boy and so calm and nice when meeting and greeting new people and other dogs.  He was born around the end of September in 2023 and so he is growing up fast and in to a fine dog that would love to be your sidekick in life.  He is not going to be over 38 pounds and is almost there now.  He is a Mountain Cur mix and has a slim and  sleek build and has mellowed into a wonderful pre-adult dog. Razzle Tax is super smart and curious and sensitive to your mood and expectations of him. He is a dog that you could 'do' things with.  He could do any flyball or agility classes or other training that you would want to put him through. He is a sponge for doing things and pleasing you.  He is very small actually and would work well with an active family or person even in an apartment as long as he gets his daily exercise.  He needs mentally fun challenges daily and some real walking and exercise time in a fenced backyard or on the road running with an active person. He is friendly with everyone and good with cats, dogs, children and ready to take on learning all he can about the world.  If your are interested in this Mountain Cur mix pup please write to us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
Oakley, affectionately known as 'Dottie girl ' by her foster family, has such a sweet, lovable, big personality and is very eager to please!  This Pit/Mountain Curr mix is a total Phoenix that has risen from the fires of neglect, abandonment and even successfully raised her litter of puppies in the woods for the first 10 weeks of life. They were all successfully adopted in the Fall and living wonderful lives of love and commitment from their families.  Oakley is the perfect girl that lives with anyone and everyone that comes her way.  She embraces all people and dogs and she just lives her life with resilience and tolerance.  This girl might not be a Golden Retriever in looks but she surpasses any of the commonly accepted breeds that everyone gravitates to and wants to adopt.  Take her Pit mix package look away and please consider only her SOUL?  Trust us, you will not want to look elsewhere for the most perfect and beautiful temperamented dog.  Oakley sits on command and walks nicely on a leash.  When she meets new people, she is so very social and she embraces all other dogs, adults and children alike.  This girl loves to play dress up in cozy sweaters and loves a good chew toy. HOW FUN!???? RIGHT?  If you have children she is right there to engage and play with them and their fantasies.  This Momma dog is just a young 2yr old, 40lb sweetheart who longs to be an inside dog that can cuddle up next to you on the couch and help you melt the life challenges away.   Oakley had outsmarted many rescuers for months running around the county with her litter of puppies being. When she gave in we realized what a remarkable Mom she was and the beauty of her puppies.  All of her puppies have been adopted, but now Oakley is raising her heart and hand to say…. Pick Me Too!  She deserves a remarkable future and life because she will provide the amazing dog companion to someone that can ever be imagined.  Forget the wrapper on the package and consider the heart please…You won’t regret living a life with Oakley. Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $275 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Meet Riviera, or Riva for short, a sweet and gentle 10-month-old Mountain Cur dog mix weighing 31 lbs. With a medium energy level, she enjoys playtime but also knows how to settle down and relax. She’s coming out of her shell more each day, despite being very timid when she was first rescued. One of the most endearing things about Riva is how happy she gets at mealtime! Her tail wags from side to side with pure joy. She’s learning to trust people and is eager to try new experiences. She loves playing with other dogs, chasing balls and Frisbees, and pulling the stuffing out of plush toys. A good chew or bully stick makes her day even better. Riva is housetrained and is crate trained, sleeping quietly through the night. She’s well-behaved in her crate and goes in willingly. She’s also picking up training and will “sit” for dinner, though without food, she’s still working on it! She walks wonderfully on a leash and is calm in the car, even laying comfortably during recent training sessions. Riva gets along well with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a canine companion. She is good with dog-savvy cats and has shown curiosity around livestock. With new people, she can be timid, but she is making great progress in building confidence. She would do best in a home with a fenced-in yard and a confident owner who can provide the calm leadership she needs. Riva doesn’t need pity, she needs understanding and encouragement to continue growing into the amazing dog she’s becoming. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s ready to bloom with the right guidance, Riva is the girl for you. Apply to adopt her today!    Interested in adopting? Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $275 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Tate is the happiest, sweetest, and goofiest pup you’ll ever meet! This one-year-old, 40-pound Mountain Cur mix is bursting with love and energy, always wagging his little tail and ready to play. He’s an easygoing guy who just wants to please, making him an absolute joy to have around. One of Tate’s most adorable quirks is his unique way of inviting other dogs to play—he gently pokes them in the chest with his front paw, as if to say, “Tag, you’re it!” It’s the cutest thing ever and never fails to bring a smile to your face. He absolutely loves playing with other dogs, especially those who can match his playful spirit. Though he might occasionally get on an older dog’s nerves with his enthusiasm, he’s just so full of life and fun. Tate is making great progress with house training and does well when taken out regularly. He’s also fully crate trained, seeing his crate as a safe space, especially when that pesky vacuum cleaner comes out! While he’s still learning some basic commands, his eagerness to please makes him a great student. On a leash, he walks well, and while car rides make him a little nervous, he stays calm and quiet in the back seat. An active home with plenty of space to run would be perfect for Tate. He would thrive with a playmate but would also be happy as an only pet, as long as he gets lots of love and exercise. Whether he’s romping in the yard, searching for moles, or curling up with his favorite humans, Tate is sure to bring endless happiness and loyalty to his forever family. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate, and downright wonderful companion, Tate is ready to steal your heart!  Interested in adopting?
