She's crate trained and house trained, making her a great companion for any family. Walking well on a leash, she's ready for adventures with you! **Confident and Playful** Carley is a confident girl with a spirited streak when it comes to playtime. She's not afraid to take the lead at the dog park and loves to initiate play with her furry friends. With her strong personality, she knows how to have a great time! **Sweet but Shy** While Carley can be a bit shy in new and unfamiliar places, she warms up quickly once she gets to know her surroundings and the people around her. Once she feels comfortable, her playful and loving nature truly shines! **A Rescue Story** Before finding her forever foster home, Carley and her sister, Sami, were tragically left tied up outside a local shelter. They were there when workers arrived and sadly ended up on the euthanasia list. Fortunately, Team Memphis swooped in and rescued them both! Since then, Carley has thrived with her foster mom, especially enjoying the company of her doggy brother. **Fun Activities** Carley has an adventurous spirit! She absolutely loves the dog park and playing with other dogs, where she can run and have a blast. Some of her favorite activities include playing fetch with a tennis ball-she's even been spotted picking up and tossing the ball to chase it herself! She also enjoys her Kong toy filled with natural peanut butter or her silicon stick, which keeps her happily occupied for hours. ** Loving Goofball:** With lots of spunk and character, Carley loves to snuggle up close to her humans. She's a loving goofball who never met a belly rub she didn't like! ** Clever Communicator:** Carley knows several basic commands, including sit, stay, food, and play; She also understands some sign language commands, making her a unique and engaging companion! Her ability to respond to both verbal and visual cues adds an extra layer of fun to her training and interaction. ** Separation Anxiety:** Carley does experience some separation anxiety, but her foster mom has been working diligently to help her adjust to their work schedule. With patience and love, she's learning. ** Overall** Carley is an affectionate girl who is ready to steal your heart! Updated: 05NOV24 **Meet Clover** Breed: Mountain Cur Hound mix Weight: 86 lbs (but don't let that fool you; he thinks he's a tiny teddy bear!) Neutered: Yes Vaccinations: Up to date Training: Crate and potty trained (Although recently, he has decided he doesn't like his crate as much.) **Personality** Clover is the ultimate big baby! This lovable goofball has a chill play style and a heart full of affection. With the strength of a small horse and the heart of a cuddly marshmallow, he thrives on patience and kindness. Clover enjoys leisurely strolls and gentle play sessions, believing he's the most handsome boy in the room. While he can be a bit hesitant around male dogs at first, a little patience and some tasty chicken nuggets help him warm up quickly. **Impressive Hurdler** Clover has a remarkable talent for jumping over gates! He approaches each gate with enthusiasm and skill, showcasing his agility and playful spirit. Whether it's a playful leap or a graceful jump, Clover knows how to impress with his athleticism. **Natural Protector** With his large size and alertness, Clover would make a great protector for a family. While he is non-aggressive, his presence alone can be comforting and reassuring. He has a keen sense of his surroundings and will let you know if something seems amiss, making him a loyal companion who is truly ride or die for a family. **Current Boarding** Clover is currently at Dogtopia, where the atmosphere is filled with playful pups wanting to engage in energetic games. However, Clover prefers to take things at his own pace-he's more about chilling out and enjoying the downtime than joining in the wild antics. **Previous Living Situation** Clover lived in a bustling foster home with four small dogs, cats, bunnies, and chickens. He fancied himself the pack leader, strutting around like he owned the place-though he secretly just wanted everyone to join him for a group cuddle! **Favorite Activities** Clover loves to meander around the yard, enjoy gentle play with his furry friends, and then flop down next to you for some quality snuggle time. He absolutely adores chicken nuggets and will do just about anything for a tasty treat! His ultimate goal? To find his forever family so he can settle in for a lifetime of relaxed cuddles and tasty snacks! **Special Traits** Clover has a heart of gold and a spirit that's always ready for a good time! He adores other dogs, particularly females, and loves kids! However, Clover does have a tendency to jump up to be close to his humans, which will need to be addressed with training. While he also needs some leash training and a little work on not jumping, his gentle demeanor and eagerness to please make him a wonderful companion. Deep down, all he wants is a warm lap to curl up on, a family to call his own, and, of course, some chicken nuggets to share! **Adopt Clover** Get ready for a lifetime of love, laughter, and the cutest, most laid-back goofball in town! He'll keep you company while you enjoy the simple pleasures of life together!*

She's the perfect addition to any home, making life just a little bit brighter. **Smart Cookie** Rosie sits on command and is eager to please, which means she's basically a furry overachiever. She's still working on her leash skills, but give her a little time, and she'll be leading the way like a pro! **Current Situation** Rosie was found running at large and was temporarily fostered, but unfortunately, that arrangement didn't work out due to a change in the foster's living situation-absolutely no fault of Rosie's! Now she's currently boarded at Dogtopia and is ready to bust out of there. While she's enjoying her playtime, she knows that nothing beats the comfort and love of a real home. She's eager to find her forever family or a temporary foster that can help her shine outside of her boarding environment. **Temperament** Quiet and fun-loving, Rosie rarely barks unless she's excited to see you (or if she spots a squirrel who clearly needs to be barked at). With her medium-sized, low-rider frame, she's the ideal companion for cozy couch cuddles. And don't even get her started on toys-especially tennis balls! If there's a game of fetch in sight, you can bet Rosie will be sprinting after that ball like it's the Olympic finals. **Foster or Adopt Rosie** Don't let Rosie spend any more time in her boarding kennel! She's ready to find her forever home or a loving foster family that can give her the life she deserves. Put in your application today, and get ready for a lifetime of laughter, love, and affectionate kisses with Rosie, your new furry family member!

Good with dogs, House-trained, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
There is not much known about the origins of this sweet girl. Brindie and her sibling were dumped out in a deserted area, close to Gray's Landing. Brindie is a 10-month-old Mountain Curr mix. She is up to date on vaccinations, current on flea/tick prevention, and current on heartworm prevention. She is heartworm/tick disease negative. Brindie will not be ready for adoption until after her spay on September 25th, but we are accepting applications. If the potential adopter is local, a contract for sterilization, along with a deposit, may be filled out and Brindie can be taken home. The spay would still be covered by the sanctuary, as long as it is performed at our veterinary clinic. Brindie is a very sweet girl. She can be shy when she first meets you, but is a very loving girl. Her foster mother is working on her socialization and leash skills. If you are interested in Brindie, please call 931-516-9418 to ask for an application.
