Story
Xena, the 6-month-old purebred Mountain Cur, is a great choice for anyone searching for an intelligent and athletic furry friend. She enjoys playing and running around, and is gentle and affectionate towards other dogs. Although she may take some time to warm up to new people, once she does, you will receive an abundance of love and kisses. Xena had a bit of a rough start in life, as she was discovered alone under a building in SC when she was only 10 weeks old. However, she has made tremendous progress since then, and is now spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, housebroken, and heartworm negative. This furry beauty is currently on monthly preventative, ensuring her good health and happiness. If you are considering adopting Xena, it is strongly recommended that you have a fenced backyard, as she loves to run and play. Additionally, Xena would appreciate living with another dog, as she adores all of her foster siblings. Overall, Xena is an intelligent, athletic, and sweet pup that would be an excellent addition to any caring household. To find out more about this gorgeous pup and see if she is the right fit for you, get in touch with her foster family today.

Meet Izzy, a lovable goofball with a heart as big as his energy levels. This friendly, adult dog is always ready for playtime, his tail wagging with excitement at the prospect of a game of fetch or a long walk. Izzy's energy is infectious, and he has a knack for turning even the gloomiest of days into a joyous occasion. But Izzy's not all fun and games. He's also incredibly loyal and would do anything for those he loves. Not even a fence could separate Izzy from his people...and we mean literally. He has escaped his yard a few times making sure his people were nearby. His goofy antics are sure to bring a smile to your face and his unwavering loyalty will make you feel loved and cherished. Adopt Izzy and let his infectious energy and undying loyalty turn your house into a home.

Story
This very handsome boy has quickly won over the hearts of his foster family, who hasn’t stopped raving about what a great boy he is. It’s hard to imagine how close this boy was to being euthanized. Our rescue, along with others came together to each save one puppy of what originally was a litter of three, making sure each made it to safety. Frank has a contagious love for life, is a perfect gentleman and savors each snuggle and belly rub. He loves to play with toys, especially tennis balls. Frank has been the perfect mix of “chill” with a dash of puppy excitement. He happily bounces and spins when excited, which is just hilarious but also so heartwarming to watch. Frank is just pure gold - he’s going to make a lucky adopter very happy. Frank is being fostered in Collegeville (Montgomery County), Pennsylvania and will be able to join his furever family on or after 11/23/2024. www.mostlymuttz.org #mostlymuttzrescue #mountaincurmix #perfectgentleman #adoptabledogs #adoptdontshop #adoptme #handsome Mostly Muttz PA Kennel #10782 ##2225929##

Story
Meet Rio! A 34 pound, 9 month old adorable pup who was found all alone behind a grocery store in Tortola. He is absolutely adorable, and such a fantastic dog who loves people, other dogs, and also cats!! Rio loves going for car rides and his favorite places are Chick-Fil-A, The Farmer’s Market and Lowe’s. He’s a social boy and is quite a catch! A note from foster mom: “Rio is a such a sweet and goofy boy! He loves playing with his foster brothers and loves a good game of fetch. He will run in the yard, play with his own toys and even cuddle on the sofa when it is time to relax for the evening. He likes to know his human is close, but will also entertain himself sunbathing on the deck or chewing on toys.  He loves his 3 month old human foster sister and knows to be gentle with her. He does really well in the kennel during the day and likes to cuddle in bed with his humans at night. Rio is still a puppy so he has lots of energy and is working to learn what he can and cannot chew on. With that being said he does his best to be a very good boy and  enjoys working on his leash manners on walks.  Rio may be a little nervous at first but is truly the sweetest guy. He is the total puppy package since he comes potty trained and is a highly treat motivated guy!! He will steal your heart and make the best pup for the right family!” If you are interested in getting approved to meet this boy, who is up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, neutered and on monthly preventatives, please complete the application below. His adoption fee is $450. https://form.jotform.com/fairytailsrescuemd/dogpuppy-adoption-applicationNovember 16, 2024, 8:30 am

COURTESY LISTINGThis dog is a courtesy listing (not in the AARF program) but we will be reviewing applications and helping the owner find the right home for ROO. Please visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-app/ to apply. Introducing Roo: Your Energetic and Affectionate Companion! Roo is a 2 1/2-year-old Mountain Cur weighing approximately 50lbs. This handsome pup is bursting with energy, always ready for an adventure. However, when he's seeking affection, he knows how to switch into a calm and loving mode. One of the most endearing qualities about Roo is his love for affection and his favorite pastime—running and doing zoomies in the yard! You'll find yourself charmed by his playful antics and infectious joy. Watching him fetch and play with toys is an absolute delight. Roo is a well-trained dog who knows commands such as sit, wait, place, and kennel. He recently completed a 30-day in-board training, demonstrating his eagerness to learn and please his human companions. If needed, his caregivers are more than willing to cover the cost of additional training to ensure a smooth transition into your home. When it comes to manners, Roo is house-trained and has excellent crate behavior. He understands the cue to kennel up and is comfortable spending time in his crate. You won't have to worry about any accidents or destructive behavior. Roo enjoys playing fetch, spending time with his favorite toys, and socializing with other dogs. His friendly nature makes him an ideal playmate for canine pals of all sizes. Although he hasn't been around cats, livestock, or many children, he may be tempted to give chase to small creatures out of playfulness. From a medical standpoint, Roo is in excellent health, with no known concerns. Roo has shown compatibility with dogs and adults; however, he may need some time to warm up to new people. Slow introductions and a gentle approach are key to helping him feel comfortable. He walks well on a leash and rides calmly in the car, making him a great companion for outings and adventures. This sweet and intelligent boy thrives in an understanding and loving home. He's eager to continue learning, and his caregivers believe he would benefit from activities like swimming, as he showed great interest and enthusiasm during his encounters with the pool. If you're seeking a loyal and fun-loving companion who will keep you active and entertained, Roo is the perfect match. Adopting Roo means gaining a friend for life who will shower you with love, energy, and affection. Ask us about Roo today!    Interested in adopting?
