This beautiful boy is Checkers! He's just under a year old and almost fully grown at 35 pounds. He's a Mountain Cur mix and has really beautiful coloring which sort of looks Beagle-like but we think he likely has some Hound instead. He a great medium sized pup and loves meeting everyone and other dogs too. He's a lover and a quiet guy too. He loves going for car rides and walks great on a leash. They are both very playful but a little shy meeting new people at first, but they warm up! First of all, she’s got those great ham legs that sploot behind her when she lays down. As you could tell from her pictures she has quite the sizable head on her shoulders but from what we’ve seen it’s only skills are licking and eating. Quinn enjoys treats and can be very food motivated. This has been great as we try to improve some of her skills with basic commands but can also lead her to sniffing out and then jumping up to investigate the smells further. Her jumping is something we are working on as well as her house training which she is improving on. Quinn loves people and dogs. She’s eager to interact with the various dogs in our building and always wiggles with excitement to say hi to new faces. Lastly, Quinn loves a good nap and she is truly gifted when it comes to napping. She can fall asleep within 10 seconds, followed by deep and humorous snores. She will bring much love to a household!

Honestly, Sara is near perfect! If you are looking for a furry friend that isn't a Doodle, then stop and read about Sara. First of all, a little backstory on her. Sarah belonged to an older couple and was loved and adored. You can tell how well cared for and loved she has been. The husband passed away, and the wife went to live with family in Middle, Tennessee, but quickly had a stroke. The family she is currently living with already have a dog and a cat and work full-time so adding another medically fragile human and another dog is just overwhelming for them. They are trying everything to find Sara a great home and so are we! Sarah is between five and six years old and around 60 pounds. She is completely housetrained, loves other dogs and is fine with cats. She is a love bug and is eager to please. She's good on a leash, doesn't bark, doesn't chew things up, sits on command and will go to her bed upon being told to. Sara seems to mimic the energy of the other dog in the household. He's super low-key so she is super low-key! However, if another dog wants to play, she would probably play. She sits patiently at the door if she has to go potty. She doesn't scratch at it and just sits so sweetly waiting. Sara doesn't require crating either. She is just a super dog with the best disposition!
