Everybody’s ravin’ over Raven! This 1.5 year old, 37-pound Mountain Cur mix is happy, healthy, sweet, and housebroken! And she’s very easy on the eyes too! Playful and active, Raven is an enthusiastic walker and does well on a leash. She enjoys visits to the park where she has room to run and a chance to meet other dogs. At home, Raven likes to rummage through her toy box and mess around with balls, ropes, chewies, plushies, and anything with a squeaker. Raven also has a very mellow side, and is often happy to just curl up in her bed and amuse herself, or better yet, join you on the couch for some cuddle time. Raven is initially a bit shy with strangers, but quickly warms up once she knows it’s safe to do so. Once you’re a friend, you’re a friend for life. She eagerly accepts pets from her head to toe…with belly rubs being an all-time favorite. She will even paw you to convince you to keep rubbing her, dare you try and stop! ;-) Treat motivated and attentive, Raven responds to the commands sit and has a great recall. She is capable of leaning much more. She is well-behaved when left alone, she travels with ease, and she doesn’t seem to be much of a barker. Raven has a very gentle mouth and allows you to take both food and toys away from her without a problem. And she gives the softest, most tender kisses imaginable! Awwwww! A petite beauty, Raven is an amazing dog who will thrive in a home, with or without another dog, as long as there is plenty of love to go around! Gray, his mom, and all his siblings joined our pack and are now in search of their own forever homes. According to his foster mom, Gray has been the easiest guy to please. He loves treats and toys, but ATTENTION above all. If you’re looking for a Velcro dog with a heart of gold, we’ve found your fella. He’s shy at first. He’ll take a minute to warm up to you, but once he’s comfortable your patience will have earned you a little shadow. He wants to be where you are, always. He’s expressive; every thought he has ever had has been right there on his face. You can SEE him working through new challenges in his training, new experiences out in the world on a leash like an open, fuzzy book. Gray is playful! He loves rope toys and a good game of tug-o-war! He's good with other dogs - loves to run and chase. He's active and busy and looking for a family to share that with. Gray and his siblings have blossomed since first rescued. The foster moms working with this crew have been dedicated and determined offering proper care, nutrition, structure, and basic training, and their dedication has paid off. In fact, Gray has just completed a training program with one of our partners in Louisiana and did great. Gray is a really good boy and he's learning the ways of life in a happy family environment. Tyson is a bit tentative at first, it takes him a little bit of time to warm up to new experiences but given a few minutes to do so his confidence builds and he's ready to socialize or bounce around a play with the other dogs. Tyson is an active boy - he does need to keep moving, play hard, then crash and snuggle. Tyson's foster mom says he's really just the most "lovely pupper." Tyson and his siblings had been left to their own devices early in life, so they are now learning how to be part of a family where the people are in charge, and they are doing really well. The fosters involved with this group have worked on consistent training to bring them up to speed and it's working! They are food motivated and eager to learn. Tyson is good with other dogs and is agreeable to cats - however he does like a bit of a chase - not to harm, just to chase. As with all new pets, Tyson will need time to adjust to his new family and surroundings. We believe he will do well in an active family with time for outdoo r activities plus indoor downtime. He will also need someone interested in continuing with the basic training he is getting now, but missed out on as a very young pup in order to make him the best adult dog he can be.
