Due to an ongoing medical situation in our family and concurrent need to move out of our home and into temporary housing, we are looking to find a new home for our beloved Kira. She is such a sweet soul and just wants to be with people, and our current complex situation is making it difficult to give her the quality of life she deserves. ABOUT KIRA —11 y.o., medium-sized, 45 lbs —Thinks she's a lap dog! Wants to cuddle in your arms —Easygoing - doesn't require a strict schedule for wakeup or meal time —Happy to sleep all day but still has energy for adventures —Currently has freedom to go in & out of the house or be let outside to explore the yard, so would do best with fenced-in yard —Very quiet & doesn't bark at things, does whimper for attention —Can be reactive/picky with which dogs she gets along with, so should be the only dog in the home —Great with our young children but for a new home would do best with children ages 8+ who know not to climb on her —Perfect companion/WFH bud

Story
  Razzle Taz has the most beautiful coal black eyes that pierce  your soul as he stares at you begging for some love and attention.  This boy was taken from an abusive family who were bragging to co-workers about kicking and tying him up.  The co-worker contacted Critter Cavalry and we found a wonderful foster family that is spending time getting to know Razzle Taz and what his emotional and physical needs will be in life.  This boy is 6 months old and weighs 32 pounds.  He is slim and  sleek and has the energy of 3 puppies.   This boy is so smart and curious and he needs mentally fun challenges daily and some real walking and exercise time in a fenced backyard or on the road running with an active person.  This boy is very smart and would benefit from games, flyball, agility classes, just thinking activities paired with exercise.  He is friendly with everyone and good with cats, dogs, children and ready to take on learning all he can about the world.   If your are interested in this Mountain Cur mix pup please write to us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 5, 2024, 1:27 pm

This girl was found as a stray and her owners refused to come pick her up so she is in search of another home. She is a sweet lady, a bit shy, but friendly. She is out of any puppy energy phase but does still like to play and she does get the zoomies. She was house-trained so would need to relearn it. She does well in a car and is okay on a leash. She does not get along with smaller dogs and probably not a fan of cats. She will need time to warm up to a person but is just a sweetheart when she knows you! She would be wonderful as a walking companion and lounge buddy. She is in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

They are both very playful but a little shy meeting new people at first, but they warm up! Everybody’s ravin’ over Raven! This 1.5 year old, 37-pound Mountain Cur mix is happy, healthy, sweet, and housebroken! And she’s very easy on the eyes too! Playful and active, Raven is an enthusiastic walker and does well on a leash. She enjoys visits to the park where she has room to run and a chance to meet other dogs. At home, Raven likes to rummage through her toy box and mess around with balls, ropes, chewies, plushies, and anything with a squeaker. Raven also has a very mellow side, and is often happy to just curl up in her bed and amuse herself, or better yet, join you on the couch for some cuddle time. Raven is initially a bit shy with strangers, but quickly warms up once she knows it’s safe to do so. Once you’re a friend, you’re a friend for life. She eagerly accepts pets from her head to toe…with belly rubs being an all-time favorite. She will even paw you to convince you to keep rubbing her, dare you try and stop! ;-) Treat motivated and attentive, Raven responds to the commands sit and is capable of leaning much more. She is well-behaved when left alone, she travels with ease, and she doesn’t seem to be much of a barker. Raven has a very gentle mouth and allows you to take both food and toys away from her without a problem. And she gives the softest, most tender kisses imaginable! Awwwww! Raven doesn’t love loud noises, but as she continues to develop more confidence, you can see her fears just melt way. A petite beauty, Raven is an amazing dog who will thrive in a home, with or without another dog, as long as there is plenty of love to go around!
