Razzle Taz has the most beautiful coal black eyes that pierce  your soul as he stares at you begging for some love and attention.  This boy was taken from an abusive family who were bragging to co-workers about kicking and tying him up.  The co-worker contacted Critter Cavalry and we found a wonderful foster family that is spending time getting to know Razzle Taz and what his emotional and physical needs will be in life.  This boy is 6 months old and weighs 32 pounds.  He is slim and  sleek and has the energy of 3 puppies.   This boy is so smart and curious and he needs mentally fun challenges daily and some real walking and exercise time in a fenced backyard or on the road running with an active person.  This boy is very smart and would benefit from games, flyball, agility classes, just thinking activities paired with exercise.  He is friendly with everyone and good with cats, dogs, children and ready to take on learning all he can about the world.   If your are interested in this Mountain Cur mix pup please write to us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 4, 2024, 11:48 pm

Story
Meet Grover! This 5-year old brindle Muppet came to us after his owner could no longer care for him and we can’t wait for him to find his true forever. Grover is funny, huggable, eager, and the most adorable brindle mix, who, at 40 lean pounds, is the perfect size. Grover is dog friendly, delightfully playful, and loves squeaky toys the best. And with his soft pendant ears flopping around and his deep and soulful brown eyes, Grover is one handsome man! This tiny gentleman adores treats and takes them with the softest lips. When snacking, he has the occasional snaggletooth and will do almost anything for a morsel. Let’s be honest – middle age is magical and Grover is no exception! He is house-trained, crate trained, and knows basic commands. He is efficient on bathroom breaks, tap dances for his dinner, and will tap you on the shoulder if you’re working from home to remind you he is there. Once he learns to trust, he is the biggest lovebug and thrives with routine (and treats). Grover is less of an adventure brewery type dog and more of an inside cat, if you know what we mean. What do we love most about G-man? His innocence and resilient spirit. We’ll say it…humans have failed Grover repeatedly. We can assume past trauma due to his fearfulness of new situations. And in our throw-away society, recent owners who gave him away like last year’s sweater that no longer fits. Grover deserves more. He deserves to be a valued and cherished family member where he can get showered with the love and safety we all seek. Grover represents the tenacity within us all – the drive we all have to never give up and never surrender, no matter how difficult, trying, or exhausting something might be. In fact, we could all learn from Grover…it is important to keep going, no matter the odds, even if you’ve taken a few wrong turns along the way. Grover is a wonderful, waggy, loveable, cute, and furry pup with a huge heart. We think his ideal home is with someone looking to love hard and be loved harder in return. Someone who is patient and will give Grover the time that he needs to acclimate to a new place, enveloping him in a cocoon of tenderness to make him feel safe and loved for all of his days. Due to his lack of history, older kids would be best for this friendly and fun-loving fuzzyface. Grover’s top 3 priorities: 1. A patient family who will go at Grover’s pace to introduce him to new situations and commit to keeping his world small at first. 2. A committed family who will give this deserving little guy all the love he craves for the rest of his days. 3. A loving family who are looking for an amazing little pup who has a LOT of love to give.  October 29, 2024, 8:55 am

Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: Yes, with slow introsGood with cats: UnknownGood with kids: YesCrate trained: YesHouse trained: Yes Ezran is a sweet, loving pup who has so much love to give with time and space to come out of his shell. He loves meeting new people and has been thriving in his foster home. Ezran is looking for a home with patient, active owners who can take him on adventures and are dedicated to continue his training! He loves to explore the world and go on adventures but also able to chill by the couch for a nap or two. Ezran gets along well being fostered in the home with another pup; however, he needs slow, proper intros to new pups to have some time and space to get to know them. Once comfortable, he does enjoy playing with another pup and picks up on other cues. He has interacted well with kids and would likely be fine with dog-savvy kids in the home.Ezran is a smart boy and eager to please. He is crate trained and house trained. He's crated throughout the day and overnight without any issues. Ezran is working on his leash manners and would benefit from a confident handler who can help him navigate his new environment. He is an absolute love bug who'd love to be a part of your family- are you ready to welcome his adorable bat ears into your home? Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. Story
Dino is a loveable, chill guy who I adopted when he was a 9 month old puppy when I lived in Florida. He has moved with me a few times, and we have been through a lot together. I got married last year, and we recently welcomed a beautiful baby into our lives. Dino is calm around the baby, but I have not been able to give him the time and attention he deserves, so I would love to find someone who can be the owner he deserves.
