You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. ATTENTION: Now accepting best friend applications! Meet Zippo (my foster family calls me Zane), a Mountain Cur mix full of energy and puppy charm! This playful pup loves his four legged foster sister (a 60 lb lab), chasing balls, cuddling, playing with toys and learning new tricks. Zippo is good with dogs and children. He’s busy working on potty training and making progress each day. He’s a typical puppy with a perfect blend of cuteness and playful spunk; he’s sure to keep you smiling. He can be vocal when he plays or is impatient so no shared walls. Zippo would thrive with an individual, couple or family and is ready to shower you with unconditional love.  **He will be ready for his forever home the first week in February Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Interested in adopting this lovable animal? Story
I’m Nutella and am from Alabama. My foster momma says I should dream big because I deserve my biggest dream. So here it goes. My wish is to find my forever home. A home that is going to love me unconditionally for all that I am. See I only have three legs. After I was hit by a car in 2023 the doctors did everything they could to save my leg however the best thing for me was to amputate in April 2023. I’ve had to adjust lots since then however I’m a Warrior! These amazing humans from Warrior Dog Rescue brought me to Minnesota where more amazing humans brought me into their home, have shown me so much love, and taken care of me while I continue to heal. They have taken me to a special dog therapy doctor. I have a special bed I lay on every day that is really helping me feel better. I also take some really good medication that helps me feel better too. Our goal is to one day not need all of them. We are working on my walking. I can walk about five minutes and then I need to be done but each week I can another 5 minutes and see how I do. I do get pretty sore but we are confident in time I’ll be able to walk longer. It’s hard to keep me down :) I’m in what the humans call my adolescence stage. Where I can be a little stubborn and sassy. I need a family that will understand my breed and need for at times to have some space and make me take “breaks” as my foster mom calls them. See sometimes I don’t know what’s best for me and I need to take a break. I dream of a home that will have a fenced in yard to keep me safe. As much as I like to play with the dogs I live with (4 of them), I might like being the only dog or one that doesn’t mind me stealing the bones and toys and doesn’t react. I really like the resident cat and we play often. My other dream would be to have a home where they continue to help me on my healing journey and a home without a lot of stairs. My foster mom says I’m the best snuggler and have the softest ears. She giggles when they bounce when I bark. I love snuggling in bed and enjoy the little massages I get. I do really well in my kennel when they leave for work or when they leave me out. I also like to chew on bones and balls. I also like when my foster momma puts out puzzles for me to play with, it keeps my mind busy and really enjoy the treats that are in them. I can’t wait to be able to run in the yard and chase after the ball like I used to. I also love to be outside and find the treasures I bring outside and chew on sticks. I really like being on the boat in the summer. Foster momma also says there are so many things to love about me it’s hard to put in words. Would you consider making my dream come true? --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $400To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

Story
This girl was found as a stray and her owners refused to come pick her up so she is in search of another home. She is a sweet lady, a bit shy, but friendly. She is out of any puppy energy phase but does still like to play and she does get the zoomies. She was house-trained so would need to relearn it. She does well in a car and is okay on a leash. She does not get along with smaller dogs and probably not a fan of cats. She will need time to warm up to a person but is just a sweetheart when she knows you! She would be wonderful as a walking companion and lounge buddy. She is in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

Story
Takia is a beautiful, sweet young dog with strikingly unique eyes—one of each color! She is well-mannered, potty trained, and loves affection, though she can be a little shy when meeting new people or adjusting to new places. This is understandable, given her recent life changes: she gave birth to a litter of puppies, was rescued, and is now settling into her foster home. As she continues to warm up, it’s clear Takia craves human companionship and loves to be near her people. Despite her past, she’s eager to learn and still has the playful, curious spirit of a puppy. She gets along well with other dogs when introduced properly and enjoys playtime, but she doesn’t quite understand cats and tends to leave them alone. Takia is still learning to relax and enjoy life outside of survival mode, and she’s discovering the joys of toys, especially when it comes to chewing. She loves to cuddle close to her humans, basking in the warmth and comfort of a soft bed or couch. Though she’s still getting the hang of treats, she’s already a fan of mealtime. Takia is making great progress with crate training, and she’s been accident-free in the house. She will benefit from continued leash training and commands like sit or stay, but with patience and consistency, she will thrive. Takia will do best in a family that offers her the grace, love, and stability she needs as she embraces her new life as part of a family. Apply to adopt at www.campcompanion.org Adoption fee is $350 plus tax.
