Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Hattie! This friendly, fun-loving pup is always up for an adventure. She adores chewing on bones, playing with toys, and even entertaining herself with a game of solo fetch! Hattie is making great progress with potty training and already knows her basic commands. She's also working on keeping all four paws on the ground and resisting the temptation of counters. A treat helps her settle in her crate, and she’s always eager to head outside for some fresh air. Hattie loves attention—whether it's getting pets or sneaking in a snuggle when the mood strikes. With her playful spirit and eager-to-please attitude, Hattie is ready to bring joy to her forever home! Hattie is from an Owner Surrender. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page. *Rescue puppies are notorious for losing their birth certificates before entering our rescue. Story
This girl was found as a stray and her owners refused to come pick her up so she is in search of another home. She is a sweet lady, a bit shy, but friendly. She is out of any puppy energy phase but does still like to play and she does get the zoomies. She was house-trained so would need to relearn it. She does well in a car and is okay on a leash. She does not get along with smaller dogs and probably not a fan of cats. She will need time to warm up to a person but is just a sweetheart when she knows you! She would be wonderful as a walking companion and lounge buddy. She is in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.
