Story
This girl was found as a stray and her owners refused to come pick her up so she is in search of another home. She is a sweet lady, a bit shy, but friendly. She is out of any puppy energy phase but does still like to play and she does get the zoomies. She was house-trained so would need to relearn it. She does well in a car and is okay on a leash. She does not get along with smaller dogs and probably not a fan of cats. She will need time to warm up to a person but is just a sweetheart when she knows you! She would be wonderful as a walking companion and lounge buddy. She is in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

Story
Ollie is estimated to be about 10 months old (9-24). We sure think he looks like a Mountain Cur. This breed is considered rare but are quite common in South. His foster reports that is much calmer and more gentle than expected. He is great puppy manners! The Mountain Curs are well-loved family dogs who thrive in the right environment, getting along great with kids and other dogs. Their high energy levels make them best suited for an active family where ample exercise and mental stimulation will be provided. Mountain Curs are known for their intelligence, tenacity, and high energy levels. Thanks to their history of working side-by-side with pioneers, they have a strong work ethic and thrive when given a job to do.Their short, dense coat requires minimal grooming, making them a relatively low-maintenance breed. However, their high energy levels mean they need regular exercise and mental stimulation to keep them happy and healthy. Mountain Cur dogs do best in a home with an active, outdoorsy family who spends their weekends hiking, hunting, or just hanging out in their fenced-in yard. This dog is sheltered in a foster based, nonprofit rescue. The Adoption Fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea, Tick and Heartworm Treatment and Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. Thank You for Your Interest in Adopting a Canine Companion from Foccas-tn. Gigi is a very sweet affectionate girl that will do anything to please you. she is also very playful and loves to chase squirrels. but also has a calm side and will snuggle up next to you all night. she is an active dog that requires some kind of exercise daily. would fit your life style best if you have an active lifestyle. she is up to date on all her shots and knows all basic commands. i love this dog so much and you will too, i sadly have to re-home due to housing and financial issues.

Story
--FOSTER PUPDATE--Belch A16784253 lb. Neutered Male, approx 2 years oldBear (A167842) is a lovable, 53-lb neutered male, approximately 2 years old, and currently in a foster home. He’s full of love and ready to find his forever family! And yes, his name is Bear now—because while “Belch” might get a laugh, this sweet boy deserves a name as wonderful as he is. Here’s why Bear is a paws-down amazing companion:- Love Bug Alert! He adores being with his people and is happiest when giving and receiving love.- Dog-Friendly: Bear plays wonderfully with his foster sibling and knows when it's time to rest. (Proper introductions recommended!)- Best in a Cat-Free Home: While Bear loves people and dogs, a home without cats is ideal for this sweet pup.- Food Motivated & Smart: At a recent training class, instructors raved about how smart and eager to learn he is. Training with him is both fun and rewarding!- Adventure Buddy: Bear enjoys walks and car rides. He’s ready to explore this world with you! - Potty Trained: ALMOST! Bear knows where to go, it’s just a matter of learning his signals that he needs to go outside. - Quick Learner: Bear listens well and responds promptly when redirected.- Attention needed: While Bear is great with his foster siblings and neighbor dogs, he does show signs of reactivity while around unknown dogs and on leash. He will need a patient human to help teach him even stranger dogs can be friends. A Note About Bear's Health: Bear is heartworm positive, but don’t let that scare you! Heartworms are treatable, and Bear’s treatment is already complete! He’ll just need a retest in September to confirm the little rascals are all gone. With your care and support, Bear can go on to live a long, happy, and healthy life.Bear is a wonderful companion ready to bring joy and love to your home. This good boy is ready to be your best buddy—don’t miss out! 🐶✨This pet is in a foster home!
