Story
Meet Rio! A 45 pound, 9 month old adorable pup who was found all alone behind a grocery store in Tortola. He is absolutely adorable, and such a fantastic dog who loves people, other dogs, and also cats!! Rio loves going for car rides and his favorite places are Chick-Fil-A, The Farmer’s Market and Lowe’s. He’s a social boy and is quite a catch! A note from foster mom: “Rio is a such a sweet and goofy boy! He loves playing with his foster brothers and loves a good game of fetch. He will run in the yard, play with his own toys and even cuddle on the sofa when it is time to relax for the evening. He likes to know his human is close, but will also entertain himself sunbathing on the deck or chewing on toys.  He loves his 3 month old human foster sister and knows to be gentle with her. He does really well in the kennel during the day and likes to cuddle in bed with his humans at night. Rio is still a puppy so he has lots of energy and is working to learn what he can and cannot chew on. With that being said he does his best to be a very good boy and  enjoys working on his leash manners on walks.  Rio may be a little nervous at first but is truly the sweetest guy. He is the total puppy package since he comes potty trained and is a highly treat motivated guy!! He will steal your heart and make the best pup for the right family!” If you are interested in getting approved to meet this boy, who is up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, neutered and on monthly preventatives, please complete the application below. His adoption fee is $450. https://form.jotform.com/fairytailsrescuemd/dogpuppy-adoption-applicationDecember 3, 2024, 8:37 am

Story
Xena, the 6-month-old purebred Mountain Cur, is a great choice for anyone searching for an intelligent and athletic furry friend. She enjoys playing and running around, and is gentle and affectionate towards other dogs. Although she may take some time to warm up to new people, once she does, you will receive an abundance of love and kisses. Xena had a bit of a rough start in life, as she was discovered alone under a building in SC when she was only 10 weeks old. However, she has made tremendous progress since then, and is now spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, housebroken, and heartworm negative. This furry beauty is currently on monthly preventative, ensuring her good health and happiness. If you are considering adopting Xena, it is strongly recommended that you have a fenced backyard, as she loves to run and play. Additionally, Xena would appreciate living with another dog, as she adores all of her foster siblings. Overall, Xena is an intelligent, athletic, and sweet pup that would be an excellent addition to any caring household. To find out more about this gorgeous pup and see if she is the right fit for you, get in touch with her foster family today.

He’s a sweet fella with lots of love to give! His sweetness is as abundant as his energy. He's a happy soul, always eager to make new friends, be it humans or other dogs. As friendly as he is, Lucky would do best as your one and only as he gets overstimulated if there is another dog in the home.  He is a very affectionate dog with people. He loves to sit with you while you watch TV will want to sit with you watching TV and will want to cuddle with you in bed.  Lucky also loves to eat and loves his treats. However, Lucky does have a timid side, particularly when it comes to cats. He's also a fantastic co-pilot and enjoys his car rides, especially when it means a new adventure.
