You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. I'm a good boy. No one who has visited the shelter in the past year has noticed me, but I'm a good boy! I was so scared when I came in after I was abandoned on a rural highway in our town. I was too afraid to come to the animal control officer when called, so they had to live trap me.. Then they sent me to the prison program where I learned to love my handler and I got along with the other 4 dogs in the program. Now when I see people I know happy to see you!  When I am with people I don't know, I am anxious and sometimes I don't show my sunny side (so no small children as I need my personal space at times), but when I see someone I know I am happy and joyful. The shelter staff says they can't bear that I've been with them a whole year. I walk well on lead and crate well. I will need a fence or some confinement when I am outside so I don't run off, but I am most comfortable on your couch anyway. I am not a barker. I jump up into the crate to travel and dance when you come to take me for a walk. I just need that one person who is willing to become my forever friend. Please take a chance on me. Bogart is a handsome guy who is: • Good with other dogs. • Easy to walk on a leash. • Possibly housetrained- keeps his kennel clean. • Smart- knows “sit” and possibly other commands. • Affectionate - enjoys cuddling and attention! Bogart came to the shelter as a stray and was not reclaimed. As a result, we do not know his backstory. We have noticed that he does not like loud noises or cars. He also can be a little shy when meeting new people and dogs, but he warms up quickly. This guy may need a little grace and patience in a new home as he learns he is safe, but he will be your best friend if you give him a chance. If you can provide this guy with a loving home, apply to adopt him now!

Buttercup is the middle sister to Blossom and Bubbles (adopted) and is also ready to be adopted! Blossom enjoys playing in water, she absolutely loves to lay in the pool or use her foot on the sprinkler like a hand. Buttercup is already showing signs of being housebroken as her kennel is always clean. Buttercup will be the perfect dog for any family. She is great with cats, dogs, and children. She loves to talk and will let you know if she is happy or needs something. Her favorite thing to do is rough house with her sister Blossom while out in the yard. Buttercup is ready for adoption. Blossom is the older sister to Buttercup and Bubbles (adopted) and is so ready to be adopted! Blossom loves to play in water and can spend hours having a blast. No matter if it is a pool or sprinkler, she will find a way to have fun. Once the fun is over and it’s time for a nap, you can find Blossom relaxing in the pool as if it was a hot tub. Blossom will need some basic household training, but she is smart enough to catch on quickly. Blossom can spend hours rough housing with her sister Buttercup while out in the yard together. She is great with cats, dogs, and children.
