Story
We brought Boomer home when he was 2 months old from the Lawrence Humane Society. He has been such a loving dog, and is very protective of our three year old daughter. He loves to play ball, frisbee, and really needs a family who can exercise him. He loves his belly rubbed, and he likes to snuggle. He is very strong, so he will need a strong leash, and when he gets excited, he does tend to pull. He listens well, sometimes we have to be stern with him, but he’s trained to “sit” and “lay” on command. He is also kennel trained, and if you tell him to go to the kennel, he will.

Bailey Husky / Catahoula Mix (best guess) DOB: 10/19/2025 Bailey is the sweet, solo puppy of a very young mama who survived a tough start after being left behind in a home. Her mom entered rescue just days before Bailey was born, and thanks to good care and a safe place to land, both have been thriving. Bailey is a friendly, wiggly girl who loves people and enjoys exploring her surroundings. She has a soft reddish coat, adorable white toes, and a happy, social personality. She’s doing great learning all things puppy — settling into routines, responding well to guidance, and approaching new experiences with curiosity and confidence. Like any puppy, she’s still learning, but she’s off to an excellent start in her foster home. Bailey is expected to grow into a medium to larger dog, likely around 45–60 lbs when fully grown. A picture of her parents and maternal grandparents are included in her bio. If you’re looking for a loving, resilient puppy with a wonderful foundation, Bailey may be the perfect fit.
