Story
All dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, Heartworm tested (6 months and above) and current on vaccinations and preventions prior to adoption. At the time of adoption all dogs are signed up with a unique Safe Paws QR pet ID tag, the adopter is required to maintain a monthly membership of $2.99/month for (at minimum) the first year. This helps insure your new furry family member makes his way back to you if lost. Leashes and collars are also required at the time of adoption. You are welcome to bring your own, or we have plenty to choose from at the shelter as well. If the pet you fall in love with is not quite ready for adoption, we do offer a $50 hold deposit that will insure you have first "dibs" on adoption. Once an animal is available for adoption, we are not able to hold them, as there are so many animals waiting to come into our program. Midwest Animal ResQ offers a 30-day adjustment period within which you can evaluate the pet's progress and your adoption decision. If, within those 30 days, you determine your recently adopted pet isn't a good fit, you may return the animal and receive a MARQ credit that can be used toward the adoption of another animal. Our biggest priority is finding the very best match for you, and Completing Families one Tail at a Time! Our shelter is located at 10312 East 63rd Street in Raytown, MO. We are open to meet pets Tuesday through Friday from 10-6, and on Saturday and Sunday from 10-5. We are closed on Mondays. You are welcome to fill out our quick 10 question adoption survey to facilitate a quicker process. This will also start the meeting process for those animals in foster. https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/MARQ/Dog

Story
Hi I’m Kolt! I’m a happy boy! Always happy! I love to play play play! I have lots of energy and just want to play! I love everyone but I’ve been told some find my energy and enthusiasm for life a little annoying? I can’t imagine that though! I think they just need to play more! I’m very treat motivated so if you want me to do something just teach me and I’m a pleaser because I want everyone to be just as happy as I am! I enjoy other dogs but not everyone is going to enjoy my enthusiasm for life! I prefer having someone around all the time so having another active dog in the house would be great! If interested in learning more about me, an adoption application can be placed online at https://savingdeathrowdogs.rescuegroups.org/info/adoptionVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2024, 6:32 pm
