Story
She is such a smart, affectionate, and special dog - however after bringing our baby home a year ago, we can see a personality shift in her. We have worked with a trainer to try to make this transition easier for her, to no avail. We have recently learned that we will be moving to New York City, and this move combined with the baby - we know that we are not the best family for her. She is crate trained, walks well on a leash, and knows all basic commands such as sit, stay, place, wait, (she waits for us to say “ok!” To eat), does not jump on furniture unless invited, is highly food motivated but does not beg, loves to play mind games. She does have a high prey drive (she has brought us some squirrel and rodent presents), and can be triggered in large/competitive settings with other dogs (no dog parks). We are desperate to find a loving home for this sweet girl.

Energetic and playful, she is one of our most active dogs, making her an ideal hiking companion. Kora gets along well with children and male dogs alike. She is familiar with basic commands, radiates love, and is excited to meet you!   Adopt - Foster - Sponsor   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 2, 2025, 6:44 am

Story
Nina is a little shiny diamond-in-the-ruff. Her cuteness bursts out in a her prancey walk, sweet smiles, and adoration of toys! Once all her sniffing is done, she gets little silly playful spells and shows her youthful side. Tho a little bossy with some dogs, she can come around and play well with the right companion to teach her. This little beauty needs a home to give her just the right polish.   ***Our pups don't tell us who their parents are - BREED is a GUESS*** ~  Est DOB:  April 2016   ~  Est weight:  35#  ~  Adoption details:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlNovember 1, 2024, 11:11 pm

Astro is a sugar-puppy who will melt for anyone who shows him love. He gives his whole heart, and wants to be a part of his family's life. Be prepared for snuggles and attempted lap-sitting. He's learning all the great things, like people give treats, and leashes mean fun outings, and sit gets rewarded. He has a naturally good and earnest nature. He is intimidated by big, bouncy dogs but loves dogs his size and smaller.  ***Our pups don't tell us who their parents are - BREED is a GUESS*** ~  Est DOB:  Jan 2023 ~  Est weight: 50#~  Adoption details:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlDecember 22, 2024, 7:03 pm
