Story
This beauty is Nova! She arrived at the shelter as a lost girl with ID on 8/6, along with her bestie, Mia. This is not their first rodeo; they've been in the shelter several times, but their family did not come for them this time. Both girls are a bit confused as to why their family deserted them, but at least they have each other, and that is comforting. Nova & Mia would love to be adopted together, and anyhow, two dogs is always better than one! Both girls are playful, affectionate, and friendly. They LOVE treats and will work for them! Nova is approximately 1.5 years old, and she weighs 49 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines, and she has been spayed and microchipped. Nova tested negative for heartworms so that is great news. Please come meet Nova (and her bestie) in run 874; her ID # is 660889. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.

Story
Nina is a little shiny diamond-in-the-ruff. Her cuteness bursts out in a her prancey walk, sweet smiles, and adoration of toys! Once all her sniffing is done, she gets little silly playful spells and shows her youthful side. Tho a little bossy with some dogs, she can come around and play well with the right companion to teach her. This little beauty needs a home to give her just the right polish.   ***Our pups don't tell us who their parents are - BREED is a GUESS*** ~  Est DOB:  April 2016   ~  Est weight:  35#  ~  Adoption details:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlSeptember 4, 2024, 11:56 pm

Story
Astro is a sugar-puppy who will melt for anyone who shows him love. He gives his whole heart, and wants to be a part of his family's life. Be prepared for snuggles and attempted lap-sitting. He's learning all the great things, like people give treats, and leashes mean fun outings, and sit gets rewarded. He has a naturally good and earnest nature. He is intimidated by big, bouncy dogs but loves dogs his size and smaller.  ***Our pups don't tell us who their parents are - BREED is a GUESS*** ~  Est DOB:  Jan 2023 ~  Est weight: 50#~  Adoption details:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlSeptember 4, 2024, 11:56 pm

If Tilly's puppy-dog eyes don't grab your heart, you may want to check your pulse. This dainty honey has a gentle and calmer energy, good on a leash and polite when greeting new people.
