Meet Borsalina: A very sweet high energy Mountain Cur Mix, but not the hyper that tears up your house. I would say its more excitement level. Once he gets his energy out he is a great house doggie! A fenced in yard and a doggie friend would be ideal for him. He was going to training once a week before joining us. She's a good walker but is scared of not knowing where she's headed but a little sweet talking does the trick just fine. Bella does fine with other dogs she actually came in with her brother and they do just fine. In order to adopt one of our animals an application must be submitted and approved. For more information on any of our pets, please feel free to email us at INFO@HUMANEMORGAN.ORG give us a call at 706-343-9977. All dogs are heartworm negative, current on vaccines/dewormings, and microchipped. All cats are FeLv/FIV negative, current on vaccines/dewormings, and microchipped. We are open 10am-5pm Monday-Saturday, we schedule our last adoption at 4pm everyday to allow our staff enough time to feed and walk dogs. We are an animal shelter and therefore are not able to individually potty train our residents. Many adult dogs do arrive “house broken” however due to animal behavior any change in environment will make an emotional impact on the animals and therefore initiate unwanted behaviors during the acclamation period. Please keep this in mind. Puppies do not have the biological maturity to maintain absolute bladder or bowel control and will require a certain degree of potty training and house breaking. Please consider the time and commitment it takes to provide the necessary building blocks for these special babies, prior to submitting your application. She would love a daily walk and really loves to be outdoors. A weekend hike or outing would make her super happy too! Merilee is athletic and might be a good candidate for agility?! She is very smart, easily trainable and will make you laugh with her cutest faces and moves. Merilee is comfortable in your home and would make a great play partner too if you have a resident dog.
