Story
We adopted Kailey when she was just 8 weeks old from Charleston, SC and she is now 9. She is the gentlest dog I have ever met. Her demeanor is perfect for households with children or other animals. She loves attention and being pet and will always love to cuddle. Her and her sister Jordan are always together and follow each other everywhere. A new home for them must have loving owners. They grew up with a lot of attention and love from my wife and I, so I wouldn't want them to lose that. Their first few years were spent in a house with a backyard and the last 3 have been spent at an apartment complex. Bonded dog is Jordan. We would like them to be adopted together. Jordan is 7 years old. The vet says she's a terrier/something mix. The description for Jordan is the same as Kailey's. She loves to cuddle and be close. She is more energetic than Kailey though and loves to play, whereas Kailey would rather explore outside or be pet versus playing fetch.

Story
Luna is a super sweet Catahoula Leopard dog mixed with Aussie. She would love to find a forever home with a fenced yard, and another active, energetic dog to play with. Luna is a special needs dog because she needs help emptying her bladder. When she was just a young pup she and another dog got loose and went into a neighbor's yard where they were shot. The dog she was with was killed and she was shot in the back as she was running away. Thankfully she survived and is now recovered and can walk fine but she doesn't have any feeling back there, so she needs to wear diapers indoors, and she needs help expressing her bladder. We know that involves extra work, but it's not very difficult at all. We amputated her tail to make cleaning her easier. We're hoping you will open your heart to this super sweet, gorgeous, very special girl. Story
Hank is a wonderful and loving dog with a lot of endearing qualities. His loyalty and love for cuddling, along with his enthusiasm for playing fetch, make him a delightful companion for the right owner. His laid-back nature and preference for lounging by the TV, combined with a healthy appetite for treats and food, show his relaxed yet playful demeanor. It's important to note his territorial behavior around food and toys, highlighting the need for a clear understanding of his boundaries. His bond with Cash, his foxhound companion, after an initial adjustment period, speaks to his ability to get along with other dogs. While Hank thrives on adult attention, his interactions with young children may not be suitable. Therefore, a family without young kids would be the best fit for him.Having completed the Jet Set Pets 3-week boarding training program, Hank is well-versed in commands and responsive to training. The trainer's willingness to demonstrate his commands to the future owner, along with your commitment to ensuring the right home for Hank, reflects a dedicated approach to his well-being.In conclusion, Hank's positive attributes shine through, and with the right match, he can bring joy and companionship to his new family.Additional information: We are not a shelter.Local adopters only. All our dogs are in private fosters. We only set up meets with approved adopters. If you want to meet our adoptable dogs, many pups will be at Brewhound for Fur Sisters Friday on the first Friday of every month from 6-8 pm.Adopters are chosen based on the best fit for each dog, it is not first come, first served. We do not 'hold' dogs. Please note: we have many dogs who are not yet listed as available due to the availability of volunteer time to post or because they are puppies.
