Story
Bailey is a loving, 3-year-old dog we adopted as a puppy from a rescue. While she’s sweet and affectionate with us, she struggles with fear and anxiety around strangers, barking and charging initially but never biting. Once she warms up, she’s her usual loving self. She gets anxious in group settings or when meeting new people, though she calms down after a few minutes. Walking her has become stressful as she stays on high alert around strangers. Bailey needs someone patient and experienced to help her overcome these challenges and build her confidence. She’s bossy, loves attention, and gets along well with other pets (our older dog and cat). We love her dearly but feel we’re not the best fit for her needs. We believe she will thrive with the right person who has the time and understanding to help her. If you’re interested in giving Bailey the loving home she deserves, please reach out to learn more.
