He is a fully trained 40 lb mixed breed brindle dog. He is trained through the Sit Means Sit program and is house broken. He has strengths with responding to commands, staying on his place board, coming instantly when his name is called, snuggling, and showing love. He wants to do well, meet your expectations, be with his favorite humans, and protect. Milo is extremely loyal. Milo needs an adult only family who will continue his training and that will provide a safe, structured, and calm environment for him. Infrequently, Milo can have reactive and impulsive actions. He barks at unfamiliar people arriving in the house, walking past the house, and animals in the yard. He can nip and/or show his teeth when he feels uncomfortable, or when he thinks he needs to protect. He will show that he feels remorse after one of these short moments. Sit Means Sit will provide at home training services, consultation services, and he can continue to attend group classes. Milo will travel to his new home with his crate, travel crate, leash, e-collar, place board, beds, and anything he else needs. This girl was found as a stray and her owners refused to come pick her up so she is in search of another home. She is a sweet lady, a bit shy, but friendly. She is out of any puppy energy phase but does still like to play and she does get the zoomies. She was house-trained so would need to relearn it. She does well in a car and is okay on a leash. She does not get along with smaller dogs and probably not a fan of cats. She will need time to warm up to a person but is just a sweetheart when she knows you! She would be wonderful as a walking companion and lounge buddy. She is in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

This very handsome boy has quickly won over the hearts of his foster family, who hasn’t stopped raving about what a great boy he is. It’s hard to imagine how close this boy was to being euthanized. Our rescue, along with others came together to each save one puppy of what originally was a litter of three, making sure each made it to safety. Frank has a contagious love for life, is a perfect gentleman and savors each snuggle and belly rub. He loves to play with toys, especially tennis balls. Frank has been the perfect mix of “chill” with a dash of puppy excitement. He happily bounces and spins when excited, which is just hilarious but also so heartwarming to watch. Frank is just pure gold - he’s going to make a lucky adopter very happy. Kodiak! This handsome hunk is Kodiak. He was adopted from us as a puppy about a year and a half ago and while he was well loved some major family changes (through no fault of Kodiak's) made his family decide that they were not giving him the time and attention he needs. As sad and confused as Kodiak is at losing the only family he knows he is trying really hard to put on a brave face and is now looking towards to future. He is an energetic goofball and would love an active, adventurous family. Like hiking? So does Kodiak! How about games of fetch? Kodiak is your guy! Kodiak is housebroken and crate trained, although we would expect any dog might have a few accidents while they transition ot a new home and routine. Although Kodiak is very dog friendly he is also a (large) bundle of energy and may intimidate some dogs with his....exuberance. He did happily live with another dog since puppyhood. Although he lived with a very young child he is a 60 lb freight train at times and as such will accidentally knock over little ones and would do best with older kids or an adult home.
