Meet Hezly, proud member of the Gymnastics litter (7 puppies total, all available for adoption through SOS)! These pups are 2.5-month-old Mountain Cur mixes that will win you over with their cuteness. As you would expect with any puppies, these guys are playful, affectionate, outgoing, gentle, and quiet. They fill their days with many hobbies, including playing with toys and playing tug-o-war, but they also enjoy a healthy dose of lap time throughout the day. The Gymnastics litter is hard at work on crate, house, and leash training, and they already do well crated in the car. We strongly recommend that all of our puppies attend obedience training to learn commands, develop confidence, and socialize with other dogs. Medical Note: This dog is being treated/has been treated for demodectic mange, a non-contagious skin condition. The dog has responded well to this treatment and is ready for adoption, though may still have some bald patches and/or thin fur in places. Please note that demodex can flare up in any dog in times of stress (eg, transport, transition to a new home, change in food, etc). As such, the adopter is advised to discuss this condition and best next steps with their veterinarian. SOS recommends that dogs with a history of demodectic mange be kept on regular NexGard or Bravecto for flea/tick prevention for at least 3 months after adoption for adults or until 18 months of age for puppies.
