You can meet your New Best Friend at an Adoption Event near you! Check our events calendar to see the upcoming event dates: https://amazingdogsrescue.org/events All our rescue doggies come with their health record and have received all necessary medical care, which includes (but is not limited to) all vaccines, de-wormer, anti-flea/tick medication, microchip and of course spay/neuter surgery. Our adoption fee is $500. Only in California, the fee for puppies under a year old is $600. Please consider this not as a price you pay for the doggie, but as a (partially tax-deductible) donation to our charity, so we can continue our work of saving 1000+ doggies per year. Read more about why we charge adoption fees here: https://amazingdogsrescue.org/adopt/ If you have any additional inquiries, please don't hesitate to reach out to us via call or text. Story
Luna is a courtesy post only, and is not a Second Chance Dog Rescue dog.  SCDR is  not  responsible for any ownership, behavior, health, or other representations made by the poster with respect to this dog.  You must contact his foster mom Wendy directly @ 949-202-6089 Luna is a very sweet and affectionate 3-year-old spayed female, 50 lb mix. She is being rehomed by her owner who pulled her from a rescue.   Her current owner has had her for 6 months and she is very healthy, vaccinated and has been through training classes so knows her commands and is house trained. Luna loves smaller dogs and puppies and would do great living with any breed her size or smaller. She's great with kids and would be fine with a cat (she is curious but respectful with cats). Luna is a couch potato at home and only barks when someone comes to the door. She loves her walks but can be leash reactive when meeting bigger dogs but she's fine with them at doggy day care off the leash. Luna’s owner is rehoming her due to a job change that no longer allows her to give Luna the life she deserves.    Please reach out to Wendy at 949-202-6089 if you would like to meet Luna.    There is a $100 rehoming fee.  November 7, 2024, 10:13 pm

Story
Indio was around the shelter for two years, neglected by his former owners, we decided to give him a space in the shelter when he started playing among the cars on the road. In the midst of danger we were able to get him to safety, and he currently has his full vaccination schedule, microchipped and neutered, ready for his new home. He is a very faithful, intelligent, calm and very sociable dog. He was raised with other dogs and cats, so he makes him a good companion for any family, he likes to go for a walk on a leash, cuddles, receive prizes and learns very quickly. He is an affectionate companion, ideal for a family with children and cats, who wants to give him the love he deserves. The $350.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to San Diego, CA. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash. The adoption fee does not include transportation to North of San Diego

Story
Marvin is a sweet and noble dog, 1.5 years old and 30 pounds. He was hanging around the shelter for a couple of weeks, he was given food, water and some love, but we decided to take him in when he arrived really injured and covered in blood, we think he was attacked by dogs. Fortunately in his medical checkup he didn't come out with many problems, and he is now healthy and ready for his new home! He knows how to coexist with other dogs, although he has his temper, he is usually very tolerant with effusive puppies. He likes to sleep in his giant bed, is crate-trained, house-trained and is sociable and friendly with new people. He knows how to ride in a car, and smiles when you scold him, he is adorable! We don't know exactly what breed he is, google lens finds a resemblance to an English Pointer and Andalusian ratter.
