Story
Mikey came to us with his brother, Monroe.  They are an owner surrender and we were told the parents were Mountain Dog and Heeler.  Mikey has been outside in a pen all of his life and not given much attention, so he is a little shy. He doesn't potty in his pen here, so would be easy to housetrain. Mikey loves to go for walks and chew on bones. He is a pretty neat guy once you get to know him.  If you have any questions or would like to come meet Mikey, please go to our website www.schspets.org and complete an adoption application. We will contact you after that! November 5, 2024, 10:35 am

Story
Picasso is playful, sweet, and full of personality. He is very socialized and affectionate but can be a little timid at first.  He has only been outside, but is loving being inside at our shelter.  He is doing pretty well with house-training, but still needs a little work.  Picasso is good with other dogs and kids too. He is about 8 months old and 60lbs (as of 10/4/24), will probably be about 65-70lbs full grown.  If you would like more information, please contact our shelter at 870-269-5200 or go to our website at schspets.org and complete an adoption application and someone will contact you for a meet and greet.November 5, 2024, 10:35 am

Story
**Pablo was enrolled in the Paws in Prison Program for 8 weeks of obedience training. He will be at the North Central Unit in Calico Rock. He will be crate trained, learn manners, and he will learn lots of tricks as well! Pablo will be looking for a forever home before he graduates in early December, so if you are interested in meeting him, please contact us!  Pablo showed up as a stray with his brother, Picasso.  He is sweet as can be and loves to smile at you and he has the softest eyes.  He was in foster care until we could bring him to the shelter, and is still getting used to the place.  He is a little shy when you first meet him, but the more attention he gets, the more comfortable he becomes.  Pablo is not house trained but seems super smart and eager to learn, so we don't think it will take long.  He was only outdoors but loves his inside room now.  He walks very well on a leash too, which was surprising.  Smart little cookie, this one! He would be good with kids and other dogs. If you would like more information, please contact the shelter at 870-269-5200 or go to our website at scshpets.org and complete an adoption application and someone will contact you for a meet and greet.November 5, 2024, 10:35 am
