Story
This is Juneaux. When her owner passed away, she found herself with no place to go. She is calm for the most part but has spurts of energy. She is a 'clean' doggy and is quiet. Juneaux does a great job walking on her leash. She is all set to find her forever and ever home. Please contact the shelter if you'd like more information on adopting. Story
Pepper is a 4 year old Catahoula Leopard Dog. She is a tripod and lost her leg as a puppy. Pepper loves people and cats. She loves our husky mix as well but recently she has shown aggression towards our female Mastiff completely unprovoked. She has never done that with our male husky or friends' dogs when they've come over for BBQs, so we're unsure why the sudden change. She's a foster for a friend that couldn't keep her due to work schedule and his divorce. We are now unable to keep her due to her aggression towards our female. We have a cat as well and she is unphased by her. She has no prey drive but loves playing with toys and will shake and growl with them. She needs a loving home that doesn't require much outdoorsy activities because she is limited in her movement with her front leg. She'd be best in a single dog home or paired with a single male. Would be the perfect companion for a lazy house. She is very food motivated and needs slow fed because she acts like she's starving
