Hi I'm Oscar! My brother Rocky and sister Missy are also here at the Ark with me. We're lucky that we have each other to play with, and we sure do love to play! But the truth is, we really all want our own home and family to grow up with. I'm shy at first because I wasn't around people much when I was little, but once I get to know you, I'm a big playful wanna-be lap dog! I just need a little time to warm up before I get my playful gear in motion. I love to spend time with the volunteers, and go for walks and play and I love meeting and playing with other dogs too! When I arrived at the Ark, we played the 'guess what breed I am' game, and the most guesses were that I'm a Cur mix, but I know that's just a guess - I know what I am, I'm a Purebred Mix-Breed!! And if you don't know what a Cur is - you sure have been missing out, good thing you found me because we're awesome dogs!! Check this out (from Google): Are cur dogs good family pets? Cur: Dog Breed Characteristics & Care Their energy, intelligence, and tenacity make them loyal workers and companions, while their desire to bond with humans makes them great family dogs. **Ark Rescue dogs are available for adoption to homes in the Alabama and Tennessee Valley area only. Buster is the sweetest boy!!! His previous owner was not able to spend time with him. At 13 months he has been boarded for training and has spent much of his life kenneled. I was asked to foster and re-home. He is precious. He longs to have his person. He still needs some reminding, but follows the requests I make such as sitting before eating, waiting before going out the door, sitting for attention, and the common obedience commands (I prefer requests). He loves to run and play but will couch with ya too! He seems to get along with my dogs and only curious of my cat. He is a diamond in the rough and wants to please so bad. You can see it all over him when he succeeds. He is 50lb., crate trained, neg HW, neutered, up to date on shots and currently on flea and HW preventatives. Will provide records. Please consider this sweet boy. Must provide references.

Meet Roscoe, a gentle ole sole that just loves attention. He is roughly about 7 years old and a big ole baby. He loves playing with kids and gets along great with other dogs. Roscoe knows most of his commands and enjoy belly rubs. He is also currently up to date on his vaccines and is already altered. Roscoe is anxiously waiting to meet is new family. Please if you have it in your heart reach out and give this boy the life he deserves.

Milo and his 3 sisters were all found in a vet clinic trash dump in 2023.NO CATSThey were all adopted. Milo is the goodest boy ever but his parents divorced and the apartments where his Mom and human siblings are able to afford to move into don't allow pets so Milo the good boy has to come back to MARF. He's a pointer/German Shorthair Pointer mix (we had thought heeler, but we were wrong!) and whatever mix and loves running outside, playing with the kids, etc.NO CATS for Milo and he is an ALPHA DOG so needs a submissive. He's fully vetted and ready to move on to his FUREVER home with a secured place to run, play and potty. He's great with other dogs and respectful kids but would be fine as an only child as long as he got exercise. A lot of it. He's a big boy at almost 70 lbs.Apply online at MadisonARF.org
