** Theo: Your Next Adventure Buddy!** Say hello to Theo, an adorable 4-month-old mixed breed (born June 1st), destined to be a large-sized companion. Theo is a charming little guy who wins hearts with his respectful nature when meeting new dogs and people. But don't be fooled—he quickly shows off his lively personality! Theo is playful, active, and always ready to learn something new. He's mastering "the art of doing nothing" and picks up quickly. He likes outings with his people no matter if it's hiking, brewery visits, or just hanging out with friends. Eager to please, Theo would love a home that’s ready to explore the world with him and continue guiding him through training and new experiences. Yet, despite his love for exploring, Theo is also a champion cuddler. Story
If you are looking for a cuddle buddy, Atlas is the guy for you. His unique looks and amazingly sweet and inquisitive personality are products of his rich breed mixture. Atlas (also known as "Mr. Steal Your Heart and Pillow") enjoys long walks, short car rides, exploring, cooling off in creeks, lounging around the house, playing tug, unstuffing plush toys, wrestling and playing the bitey face game with his doggy sibling, cuddling in bed, and anything else that allows him to spend time with his family. At almost 3 years old, he has outgrown most undesirable puppy behaviors, but is still an active boy who requires adequate exercise. He does well with children and other dogs. He has done well with cats! He likes to lead walks and can be overly eager to meet new dog friends, so some training in those areas is recommended. He also gets overwhelmed in busy settings and sometimes experiences stranger danger so it is advised to avoid crowded settings unless addressed by a trainer. He is overnight crate trained, but he becomes anxious when left in the crate for extended periods of time during the day so his ideal home would have a pet parent who is home for the greater part of the day. Atlas is learning how to pull carts. He is a very smart dog and seeks to please his owners. Atlas is house/potty trained, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. If you would like to meet this handsome guy and make him part of your family, please complete an application at https://forrescue.net/dog-application/

Story
Meet Nyx! Nyx is a 16 week old Catahoula-mix puppy that loves to play! She currently weighs in around 10 pounds and has been introduced to dogs, cats, and kids and done well with each. She would easily integrate into a home with any type of family. Nyx loves to play, as most puppies do, and would love to be part of an active lifestyle! With proper training this pup could easily become your running, hiking, or travel partner- she has no fear! Nyx is working on crate and house training and doing well, but will need time to acclimate to a schedule in her new home. Nyx is available for a foster-to-adopt home now and adoptions can be finalized after her spay and final vaccinations on 10/16. Nyx is fostered with sister Athena. This entertaining pair would love to find a home together, but are not bonded and can be adopted independently.
