Story
PLEASE READ ENTIRE POST AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION - SISSY BREED - Schnoodle (schnauzer/poodle mix) SIZE - About 15 pounds AGE - 3 years GENDER - Female MEDICAL CONCERNS - None known BEHAVIOR CONCERNS - None known SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS - Sissy is a happy girl! She is full of life and energy and a ball of fun! She came to us recently from a NC shelter partner where she had been found as a stray. She was matted, likely from fleas and itching, but is now beautiful with almost all her hair grown back in. Sissy loves playing with toys and being with her person. She tolerates other well behaved dogs but prefers being the center of your world. Eating alone is a must and this girl can chow down! Fully grown at just 14 pounds, she is a perfect size for most homes! Sissy is in good health, spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. Sissy is best suited to a home without small children who could easily be put off by her energy. An experienced owner will patiently help her learn manners and boundaries - this girl thinks she owns the world and is in charge! We are seeking a home with an active adopter who has the ability to work from home or be at home the majority of the day to spend time teaching this amazing dog boundaries. A home without larger pets and with a fenced, secure yard will give her room to run and play, two things she does superbly! Queen Sissy is looking forward to meeting you! Our adoption process starts with your email to carerescue@aol.com or Adopt a Pet inquiry. After we receive it, we will email you our prescreening questionnaire. Your answers will help us determine that your home and lifestyle matches the needs of Sissy and our adoption criteria. Once determined, we will set up a private meeting with you and your family with Sissy at a park near our private kennel just east of Richmond. After meeting her and determining that she matches your preferences for a pet, we will accept your application. A home visit by one of our trained volunteers is required for all adoptions, and we will speak with your vet to ensure that you are a responsible pet owner. Story
We are so excited be able to help this 6 month old, precious Cairn Terrier mix boy named Skeet. He is a lover of sitting in your lap and helping you watch whatever show or football game you want.  He is just waiting to be someone’s little buddy. Skeet is a delightful and small12 pound pup who will stay small and under 20 pounds as an adult. He truly enjoys laying in your lap watching TV and just being loved. When it comes to doggy toys,  and carefully picks them out when he's ready to play. Skeet is very smart  and he does well with all doggy toys, other dogs, cats, and will be your little shadow.  He and his sister Pixie were owned by a family that didntbfeed them well.  They ran loose when grom housecto house trying to find food.  The house had no fencedvyard and they wete on a busy highway.  Their momma was run.over whrn they were barely 3 weeks old. They too were in danger of the same fate.  The foster mom and dad love both Skeet and his sister and were surprised at their wonderful house manners.  Skeet fits right in with the other dogs, two cats and found the dog toy box immediately.  They are ready to be adopted now!  All vetting done and they are healthy. If you were interested in skeet, please email Critter.
