Story
PLEASE READ ENTIRE POST AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION - SISSY BREED - Schnoodle (schnauzer/poodle mix) SIZE - About 15 pounds AGE - 3 years GENDER - Female MEDICAL CONCERNS - None known BEHAVIOR CONCERNS - None known SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS - Sissy is a happy girl! She is full of life and energy and a ball of fun! She came to us recently from a NC shelter partner where she had been found as a stray. She was matted, likely from fleas and itching, but is now beautiful with almost all her hair grown back in. Sissy loves playing with toys and being with her person. She tolerates other well behaved dogs but prefers being the center of your world. Eating alone is a must and this girl can chow down! Fully grown at just 14 pounds, she is a perfect size for most homes! Sissy is in good health, spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. Sissy is best suited to a home without small children who could easily be put off by her energy. An experienced owner will patiently help her learn manners and boundaries - this girl thinks she owns the world and is in charge! We are seeking a home with an active adopter who has the ability to work from home or be at home the majority of the day to spend time teaching this amazing dog boundaries. A home without larger pets and with a fenced, secure yard will give her room to run and play, two things she does superbly! Queen Sissy is looking forward to meeting you! Our adoption process starts with your email to carerescue@aol.com or Adopt a Pet inquiry. After we receive it, we will email you our prescreening questionnaire. Your answers will help us determine that your home and lifestyle matches the needs of Sissy and our adoption criteria. Once determined, we will set up a private meeting with you and your family with Sissy at a park near our private kennel just east of Richmond. After meeting her and determining that she matches your preferences for a pet, we will accept your application. A home visit by one of our trained volunteers is required for all adoptions, and we will speak with your vet to ensure that you are a responsible pet owner. Story
PLEASE READ ENTIRE POST AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION - MISS DAISY BREED - Miniature Schnauzer mix SIZE - About 10 pounds AGE - 6-7 years GENDER - Female MEDICAL CONCERNS - None known BEHAVIOR CONCERNS - None known SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS - Miss Daisy is a precious little girl who came to us recently from western NC. Her owner was unable to keep her and we were able to take her in before she was surrendered to a shelter. This gentle, sweet soul loves other very small dogs and cuddles up to them readily. Miss Daisy is both quiet, and clean, and eats well beside other dogs. Fully grown at just 10 pounds, she is a perfect size for most homes! Miss Daisy is in good health, spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. She is, however, recovering from a heavy flea load so her coat is more sparse in the rear and we are giving her medicated baths to soothe her skin. We are seeking a home with an adopter able to work from home or be at home the majority of the day to spend time with her. A home with another kind and very small dog would be a bonus for her. We are seeking a home without larger pets or small children, and a fenced, secure yard will be a must. She will make a wonderful companion for a senior person who is able to care for her independently. Our adoption process starts with your email to carerescue@aol.com or Adopt a Pet inquiry. After we receive it, we will email you our prescreening questionnaire. Your answers will help us determine that your home and lifestyle matches the needs of Miss Daisy and our adoption criteria. Once determined, we will set up a private meeting with you and your family to meet Miss Daisy at a park near our private kennel just east of Richmond. Story
Fendi is an almost 1-year old mini schnauzer. She is really spunky and smart. She has completed basic obedience training and knows some simple commands. I am looking to rehome her because she requires a lot of attention and playtime that I am unfortunately unable to give. She was a gift to me, so I do want her to go to someone who will treat her well. She is an over all good dog, just a bit much for my plate. We have 4 kids and another dog who is older.
