Story
Bandit - Small Dog, Big Heart! This 3 year old Schnauzer mix (17 lbs.) is the definition of a happy, easygoing companion. He’s friendly with everyone he meets, loves to play, and is always up for toy time or a cuddle session. He does well with small dogs, uses a dog door like a pro, and has great house manners. He sleeps in his crate at his foster home, but would love, love, love to sleep on the bed with his people. Bandit rides nicely in the car, and knows a few basic commands. Best of all, he’s confident and relaxed—no separation anxiety and no aggression here. Bandit can be a bit of an explorer, so he needs a securely fenced yard in his new home. And keep an eye on this guy. He can dash through the door like a shot. Bandit needs leash training and can be aggressive toward other dogs while he's on leash. When playtime is over, he’s all about being close to his people. Couch buddy? Bed snuggler? He’s in. This sweet boy is ready to bring joy, companionship, and lots of love to his forever home. Bandit has been neutered, is current on vaccines, has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Bandit, please complete an adoption application on our website (uaaf.org/adopt).
