Story
Lola was brought to me when I was on Christmas vacation. She was a found dog in need of a home. She is initially sassy, but after I developed a relationship with her she became my little shadow. She would do really well as a solo dog and go to a home where she would be able to retire. Go on daily walks, and have all the attention to herself. She doesn’t do well with other dogs unless they are puppies and they grow with her. She also does not do well with children, especially when in competition with owners attention. She truly is an amazing dog, so sweet, and smart. She unfortunately just doesn’t fit in our family at this moment.

Story
Meet Wesley “ The Puppy” Why “ The Puppy”? Because he’s basically all the puppy you’ll ever need~ the GOAT of puppies if you will… Greatest Of All Time! Let’s review the résumé: Adorable tan eyebrows, mustache and socks that make him look surprisingly dapper for someone who regularly trips over his own paws. Fat puppy belly ( self explanatory level of cuteness), Puppy Breath, zoomie play sessions, naps on the couch, puppy kissseees…. Checkidy..check..check..check. Wesley is a 3 mos old fully vetted wire haired terrier mix that will likely top off at about 30-35 lbs. Perfect medium sized gentleman. Right now though he’s a big ,happy, sweet, derpy puppy 🐶 getting lots of socialization. Zero aggression. He loves everyone..dogs, cats, kids…all his favorite things. He is crate trained overnight and doing fabulously at potty training. Energy-wise he’s a medium energy dude that will do a fun 20 min play and fetch 🧸 toys session and then crash out for a good hour of your favorite Love Island marathon. If you’re looking for a happy, social, good natured puppy that will get to NB abt a med sized sofa snuggler who’ll bring lots of laughs, kisses, and just a bit of delightful chaos… Wesley might be “ The Puppy” for you. Local in Texas Adoption fee is $350 Out of state adoption fee with transport is $650.

Story
Welcome Polly to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 6-pound Mini Schnauzer mixed with Chihuahua. She should be 15 pounds or less full grown. Her mom looks exactly like a high mixed schnauzer. Polly is very fluffy and while he likes being held. In fact, she is less active than her brother Teddy and cuddlier. She is crate trained, good with his sibling, good in a car and uses potty pads. She isn’t overly vocal and is the next most fluffy in the litter. She is not a shedder at all that we can see. Her coat is soft and if you groomed her in a schnauzer cut, would look like a mini black schnauzer. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older, due to his small size. Puppies are best with someone not working all day every day. She needs time with her human and time to finish up her puppy training. She is small enough and social, so he would be a good one to take places with you. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 600 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See her cute video!!

Story
Winston is a real charmer! He wins the hearts of everyone he meets. He just showed up in a neighborhood looking for someone to love! After taking him to a vet clinic to be scanned for a microchip and posting him all over social media no owner came forward. Now Winston is looking for a new family. He seems to be extremely friendly with everyone he meets however we do not know how he would do with children. The doctor is guessing him to be about 7 - 8 years old. He seems to be house trained and has not been destructive in any way. He very much enjoys going for walks and likes to spend time outside. His biggest love is sitting in laps and giving kisses if he can get away with it! If you think Winston may be a match for you just let us know!
