Story
💙 ADOPT PEDRO 💙 Pedro is a 2 year old Schnauzer mix, weighs about 12 pounds, and is sweet as he can be! About 2 months ago, Pedro was found in Mesquite, when he was hit by a car. He had fractures in 3 of his leg and his pelvis was also cracked. He spent about 7 weeks in the hospital and is doing AMAZING now! He was neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, had his ears and teeth cleaned. He’s already ready to find a family to call his very own now. Pedro LOVES LOVES LOVES everybody, playing with toys, and other dogs. He’s very well potty trained and loves snuggles, going outside, and playing. He’s super social and confident. He’s crate trained and does really well for sleep time or if you’re away at work. He knows to go lay on his bed and sit. He’s a Velcro dog, loves to follow you around, and listens really good. Story
Meet Giles!Giles is an adorable 6 year old Poodle/Schnauzer mix, weighing just 6 pounds. He was surrendered to Saving Hope by a breeder who had nearly 45 dogs in their care. Before his rescue, Giles likely had little social interaction and spent most of his time in a crate or confined space.Since joining his foster mom, Giles has made incredible progress adjusting to life in a home. Though still a bit timid, he’s a gentle soul with a sweet nature. He absolutely loves exploring the backyard and being outside. After playtime, you’ll find him happily curled up in his soft dog bed.One of Giles` cutest quirks is the way he twirls in circles when he’s excited or greeting his foster mom. When he’s in the mood for affection, he’ll gently press his head against your neck for snuggles. While Giles wears a belly band in the house as a reminder not to mark, his habits have improved significantly since being neutered, and he rarely has accidents as long as he’s let outside regularly. He’s also a good sleeper—spending the night peacefully in his crate without any issues.Giles is still figuring out how to play with toys, but he’s making progress! He’s comfortable around other dogs and would likely do well with cats, too. Because of his small size and quiet personality, he’d thrive in a home with older children who can be gentle with him.Giles is ready to find a loving forever home where he can continue to blossom. Will you be the one to give this sweet boy the life he deserves? To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. Story
Meet Clara! She is a gorgeous young adult Mini/Toy Schnauzer looking for a family to finally give her the attention she deserves after spending her early life in breeding. This princess wants nothing more than to sit quietly next to you while you work from home and to cuddle up on the couch at the end of the day. She is incredibly sweet and is adapting well to home life with her foster family, quickly learning to run with the big dogs, potty outside, and stay quiet in her crate.Clara is quite curious of the world around her, but is also cautious, startles easily, and gets a little anxious with lots of commotion. The right household for her will be one that is on the quieter side with someone home often to keep her company. While she gets along well with other dogs, she isn’t too interested in playing, and seems to prefer being the star of the show in the house. She is ready to be spoiled! To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
