Story
We have a transport where we will be personally taking our dogs on to their new adopting families leaving in March 2025 from Southern California where we are located to the East Coast. Surrounding states will be added to our route as needed ☺️ We would love to add Jazzy to our trip for the right home 💕 As always, for peace of mind for our adopting families we never ask for ANYTHING up front. Adoption fee/travel costs are always due when we arrive in person with Jazzy in hand ❤️
Meet Jazzy! She is a 3 year old, black, miniature, schnauzer ❤️❤️❤️ She weighs 14 lbs. Yes, she is full grown and at a very healthy weight. She is spayed, current on all vaccinations microchipped, had a dental cleaning, blood work, and a full exam with our vet whom has cleared her to find a home all her own ❤️
She is house trained, and will go outside to use the restroom throughout the day when asked if she needs to go. She is great about sitting by the back door if she needs to go out inbetween when we ask her. She is very patient, so we always make sure to keep a close eye on her to ensure we meet her needs.
She is crate trained, and will happily sleep in a crate at night without any fuss at all. She also will sleep in the room, on a bed aside ours and be just as happy. We haven't had her in bed with us, but I'm sure she would equally love that if that's where you choose to allow her to sleep 😊
She is leash trained, and really enjoys her walks. She doesn't require daily walks, but won't turn them down either. She is simply just happy being at her persons feet, while they work on the computer or in their lap while they are watching television. She isn't hard to please at all, and truly is content knowing she gets to hang with her human however that entails!
She is great with other dogs, and cats alike. She doesn't like high energy dogs, especially ones that don't respect her space when she doesn't want to engage with them. She isn't much of a playmate for other dogs, but would make a great friend to one that is looking for another sweet companion to enjoy their day with. She isn't high energy at all, and while she tends to be a nosy body always wanting to know what's going on around her she doesn't interfere with anything that doesn't concern her.
She is not a barker, but will alert you occasionally of unfamiliar sounds. She is content knowing her human will keep her safe while she naps away 🙃 If she is awake, she will go with you to inspect whatever it is that you heard to make sure she always has your back if needed 😅 (I tell her she is very brave for this ☺️.)
She does really well on road trips, and especially loves riding in her booster car seat. She would make an amazing travel partner, no matter where the road, or air takes you as she would be happy just being a part of the journey ❤️
She is wonderful at our groomers, and has built a beautiful relationship with her. Her spa days bring her a lot of joy, knowing she will spend them being relaxed and feeling beautiful at the end of it!
She is very well behaved in the home. She is very mature, and will always leave you confident that your home will remain the same way you left it if you ever have to leave her while you step out. She will always be patiently waiting for your return, if she can't tag along. Her wiggles will give you all the joy you'll ever need walking back in your doors, and may convince you that more of your outings need to be dog friendly so she could join you often ❤️
She is very quiet, and reserved meeting anyone she doesn't know for the first time as her first home wasn't the best home. She had to learn that not all people were out to cause her pain. Slowly we have seen her confidence rebuild, and the light in her spirit shine brighter and brighter. I promise you that once she is your girl, she will forever be your girl 💕
Her prior owners weren't very kind to her. They bred her a few times, and once they had another to replace her with they decided she had to go. Thankfully a kind woman took her in, and promised to find her somehwere safe where she never had to worry about someone else not loving her the way she deserved to be loved. By the grace of God our paths connected, and the rest is history ♥️ We are determined to find her more joy than her heart will ever know what to do with, so that she will only know LOVE moving forward ❤️❤️❤️
Her adoption fee is on our website at the bottom of her adoption listing at https://www.breadoflifek9refuge.org/post/jazzy
It covers her spay, vaccines, microchip/registration, her dental cleaning plus extractions, blood work, and as always it goes back into the care she has received in the time she has been here with us, her grooming costs, and the training we have been personally doing with her.
While her costs have been great, and her adoption fee on the higher end, I assure you that's it's been well spent to getting Jazzy back to full health so she can be ready to begin this next chapter of her life ❤️
