Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.Paxton is a 2 year old, 15 pound mini-Schnauzer.  We think Paxton was dumped because he is an Alpha dog who is dog selective.  I put that he needs to be the only dog in the home because he does not get along with most male dogs but loves the females. It is strange because I watch him play so well with some male dogs and other males dogs he just cannot tolerate.  He is just fine with all of the females. He is not aggressive in any way.  He did bark relentlessly at me when I first met him but that quickly changed later that day and now he is my friend.  He allows me to put pills in his mouth and handle him in any way.  He is just fearful when meeting new people.  If you choose Paxton please be prepared to let him decompress in your home so his fears will go away. He is crate trained but does not like to be in there. He walks very well on a leash.  Paxton would be a great friend to walk daily or run with.  He looks to me for guidance. If you are interested in adopting Paxton, please submit an application on the website below.  You are welcome to call me if you have any questions.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet. This cute little girl is LADYBUG and she is such a good girl that I hardly know she is in my home.  She is 2 years old and weighs 12.5 pounds and has reached her adult height and weight. Her pictures are not that good but she is just a very cute little thing. LADYBUG gets along with everyone, all of the foster dogs and likes to play.  She is not over active just plays casually and has a good relationship with all of the other foster dogs in my home. LADYBUG came from our very high kill shelter here in San Antonio, TX after being picked up as a stray with road rash from being hit by a car.  She has no injuries and nothing needs to be cared for, she is completely healthy and very low maintenance on a daily basis. She walks well on a leash and rides in the car without getting car sick.  LADYBUG would be a good addition to any family as she adjust well in.  any environment.  She is crate and potty trained. If you are interested in adopting LADYBUG please submit an application on the website below and of course you can call me anytime.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Cheddar is one of a litter of puppies that recently came from Texas, where they were found living on the streets and struggling to survive. They are approximately 9 months old. Cheddar is crate-trained, but they still need to learn how to walk on a leash. His foster home is working with him but he will definitely need more training in his new home.  He is working hard on his housetraining but the cold and wet weather is not his favorite.  He is very good with using potty pads though which is a big help!  They have a fully fenced yard at their foster home, which makes playtime super fun! Cheddar is very playful and does well with other dogs.  He is a good little watchdog too and will let you know if there are any 'intruders' in the vicinity!  Cheddar is very very affectionate and loving and craves lots of attention!  He is great with kids and no one is a stranger to this lovable little dog.    Since Cheddar is not fully leash trained, we will require that a martingale collar be used at the time of adoption. If you do not have a martingale collar, you can purchase one from Pixie Mamas for an additional $10. This requirement is in place to ensure his safety and security. Cheddar is neutered,  up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  His adoption fee is $475Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 6, 2025, 12:18 pm
