Meet Abe and Brad – A Lifelong Duo Looking for a Forever Home!
Abe and Brad are two 12-year-old (in Jan. 2025) schnauzer siblings who have spent their entire lives together. Now, due to their caretaker’s declining health, they’re looking for a loving home where they can stay side by side, just as they always have.
Abe is a gentle soul who loves a good nap, but he’s always ready for whatever the day brings as long as it’s with you. He’s easygoing, has great house manners (though he might need a reminder that some things aren’t meant for him!), and is in excellent health for his age, aside from needing a prescription diet. He’s great with kids and has always shared his space with other dogs, especially his brother Brad.
Brad is a cuddler at heart who will happily stick by your side, especially if treats are involved! He’s a little older now, with a few lumps and bumps, but nothing has slowed him down. Brad is house-trained, loves walks, and still remembers a trick or two—though he might need a refresher after a bit of a break. Like his brother, Brad also needs a prescription diet and has arthritis, but overall he’s in good health with a fantastic temperament.
These two have been through a lot of changes recently, but the one constant in their lives has been each other. They share a crate and a special bond, and it’s our hope that they can find a new home where they can stay together.
