Welcome Betsy! (View her individual photos to see how cute she really is! Even so, the photos don’t do her justice!) 12 week old, 15 pound Betsy is so excited to get affection she doesn’t know who to go to first. An equal opportunity kisser and snuggler, she is absolutely precious. Betsy is well on their way to being housetrained, waits patiently for meals and plays gently with little ones. She has a beautiful demeanor and will adjust easily to the energy to a resident dog. She’s not much of a barker and sleeps peacefully in her crate, ready to start every new day with her puppy exuberance. Betsy is up-to-date with vaccinations, spayed and microchipped. Fostered in Barnegat, NJ. Come meet this pumpkin! Applications at www.pounddogfounddog.org. Applications and inquiries always receive a response so please be sure to check your spam files.

Story
Hi! My name is Tommy, and I’m on the hunt for a forever home. Animal Control found me as a stray, but I’m ready to settle down with a loving family. At around 12 years young, I’m considered a senior, but you’d be surprised—I’m still pretty active! I love exploring and going for walks, and I’m great on a leash. Weighing just 11 pounds, I don’t take up much space at all and can fit in just about anywhere.I enjoy being near my people, though I’m not the “in-your-face” type; I prefer staying close or just touching you. I get along well with the dogs and cats I’ve met, but I mostly do my own thing. I love my meals with a mix of kibble and canned food, and I’m comfortable in my crate too.If you’d like to meet me, please fill out an application at www.bcaaofnj.org. I’d love to be your new best friend!Interested in adopting this pet?Click here for BCAA's on-line Application! PLEASE NOTE: Our adoption fee helps to cover our expenses and includes all shots, *age appropriate*, distemper and rabies, fecal check, spay/neuter, heartworm test, grooming, and in many cases dental and also the fee we pay when we rescue from a shelter. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. ERNIE was saved from a high kill shelter in Texas and arrived at Give a Dog a Home Rescue, in Sebec, Maine on Sunday, 1st September 2024. We post in east coast states and Canada as we have many families adopt and are happy to make the worthwhile trip up to the rescue. We do not always have time to post all the pictures on each dogs individual page, but we do post a lot of photo's on the rescue Facebook page. Ernie is neutered , rabies, core vaccines, monthly preventatives, heartworm and tick disease tested negative and is microchipped with 24PetWatch. He has an estimated date of birth of August 2019 and at the end of August weighed around 20 pounds. We have no way of knowing the breed, it is up to individuals to look at the pictures and videos to make up their own mind. We are looking for families that have the lifestyle that the dog needs to lead a healthy, both mentally and physically life, who can afford a GOOD quality food, toys and treats and understand the importance of veterinary wellness checks. H e does need an active family who will ensure she gets all the exercise, both mentally and physically that she needs to live a happy fulfilling life. Ernie has an adoption fee of $550 Interested families are required to complete our application process and once approved schedule an appointment to come to the rescue in SEBEC, Maine to meet and take home their new best friend. Our process takes 1-2 days as long as we are able to talk to references, so be prepared to be approved (hopefully) to adopt within a few days of submitting the adoption application. Link to the adoption application! Click here to watch a video of ERNIE.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 2, 2024, 10:18 am

Story
Meet Noodle (formerly Long Legs Larie)!12 lbs • Approx. 3 Years Old • Female Once known as "Long Legs Larie" when she was found wandering the streets of New Jersey, this resilient little lady has since transformed into "Noodle" with the love and care of her foster family. Now, Noodle is ready to find her forever home! At around 3 years old, Noodle might be a Havanese or a Schnoodle—her exact breed may be a mystery, but her heart and personality are larger than life. Despite her tough start, Noodle has blossomed into a loving, playful companion who’s eager to share her affection. About Noodle: Affectionate: She loves nothing more than to cuddle and be close to her humans. Quick Learner: Noodle is excellent on a leash, walking without pulling and enjoying her strolls. Healthy: She’s recently spayed and in great health, ready for her next adventure! What Noodle Needs: Other Dogs: She would do well in a home with another dog for company. No Small Children: Noodle prefers a calm, peaceful environment without small children. Playful Personality: This social butterfly enjoys playing dress-up and will bring plenty of joy and laughter to her forever home. Noodle is ready to leave her "Long Legs Larie" days behind and start the next chapter of her life in a loving, permanent home.
