Do you ever wonder what it’s like to be a puppy and waiting to find your forever home?  It can be overwhelming trying to navigate all the things but I’m figuring out some things and still working on other things.  Let me explain. As you know, I’m still a puppy so in addition to trying to figure out where I am, I am like a baby in the sense that everything is new so things are evolving all the time.  As with all puppies, I like to chew.  It helps me get rid of my baby teeth and at the same time, I discover lots of things people don’t like me chewing on, such as magazines, shoes or an end table.  But soon enough, I’ll be done with that.  Leashes are not my thing when it comes to potty time.  So yes, I need a fenced yard.  The bonus is that I love playing with my Wubba toy outside and zip around.  When inside, I enjoy an elk antler or rope toys.  Now don’t get me wrong, I still go for walks on a leash but I’m double leashed because I love a good bunny/squirrel chase!  Hold tight!! Do you work outside the house?  We should work on our kennel happiness then because I like to bark when in there (so no shared walls) but I’d really prefer you are home more than not unless you have another dog which helps me curtail my barking a bit. And I like dogs about my size so we can play together but it’s not a requirement. Little kids scare me so it might take more time to warm up than it normally does with adults.  But once I do, I’m very sweet and will be your binge-buddy on the sofa.  Just give me a call – Hey Monty! – and I’ll be right over.  When it’s time for bed, I sleep nicely in my kennel next to your bed all night.  So what do you think?  Are you going to keep scrolling or do I fit your needs?  *I’m a growing puppy and I have not yet had a lot of experience with crates, kids or cats and I might bark if something alarms me, but I really love to learn and hoping for a family who will take me to a basic obedience class to continue to help me build confidence and dog skills. Ideally my forever home would need to be home during the day to help me with my potty training and not leave me for breaks longer than 3 - 4 hours. Lisa is a beautiful 9-12 month old schnauzer mix – she weighs 31#, and is pretty much full grown. Her adopter will need to ready the house for a puppy, because she is still learning house manners. She likes to chew on bones, toys, your socks and shoes (with a preference for shoes – you need to pick them up so she can’t get them). When you leave, she must be kenneled. Lisa is active and energetic – she jumps to greet and will need to learn the polite way of greeting people. She can’t help it………….she likes everyone. Playful with other dogs, and her ideal home would have another playful pooch and a fenced yard for them to romp in (she respects the 4 ft fence). Lisa comes when called, but still needs to learn all the other basic commands. She is very alert to her surroundings (even what’s going on at the neighbor’s house), and tends to bark in excitement. The foster uses compressed air (called Pet Corrector) for correction and it is effective in quieting her. Because of the barking she wouldn’t do well in any housing that shares a wall with another family. Lisa can entertain herself with toys if nobody will play with her. She is housebroken IF you take her directly outside first thing in the morning when she is taken out of her kennel, every 4-6 hours during the day, and at bedtime before being put in her kennel overnight. Lisa won’t do her business on leash, so she really needs a fenced yard; a canine companion to be her playmate and mentor would be welcomed. We have not seen Lisa interact with children, but expect she would be fine with kids 8 and up – mature enough to keep their valuables out of her reach. HI I’m Molly!  I’m an adorable tiny little girl who is just as happy as can be!  I have the cutest smile and when I’m really happy my whole body wiggles like crazy.  If I don’t have the body wiggles then I have the cutest nub wag to show you I want to be friends.  I’m a little nervous with people.  I want so bad to be your friend, but I will stay just a tad out of reach.  I get up my courage though if you bend down to me and I give happy little kisses to your hands and then dance around you til I come back for another round of kisses.   I do like pets though and will give you my belly for belly rubs.  Each day my foster mama holds me and I shake for a few minutes, but then I settle in.  I know that we are working on trust and confidence and I’m getting it pretty quickly!  I really enjoy the presence of another dog and they give me a lot of confidence so I do ask that my home has one.  I’ll be following them and you around the home because I’m curious about things.  If you work from home I make a great companion because I’m usually pretty quiet and will snuggle up with the dog in your home and nap.  I’ve discovered that tv is a pretty interesting thing too and my foster mama catches me watching it pretty often.  I’m working hard on kennel and potty training.  I’m a little too scared to walk on leash yet so I haven’t practiced it much, which I another reason I need a fenced in yard right now.  I haven’t met any kids or kitties yet.  I can say that kitties are bigger than I am so I might be just fine with them.  I think little kids might be a little too loud and overwhelming for me so older respectful kids would be a better fit.  If you have love to give and a little patience then I think we would be great together!  I promise you won’t be disappointed! Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.    Hi I'm Tulip!  I'm a sweet tiny little girl and must admit I'm a bit shy.  I try really hard to be confident though.  My kennel is my safe space and I like to hang out in, but I do enjoy coming out so I can follow my foster mom around.  When she gets down close to the ground I come to her with my body wiggling and I boop her hand and give her finger kisses.  I really love when she scratches my chin and neck!  I get a bit nervous when she picks me up, but I snuggle my head into her neck because I know I'm safe.  I get along great with other dogs and do ask that my new home has one so that I can continue gaining confidence from them. Loud or fast movement can be scary for me so I think a home with no little kids would be best.  I would never hurt a fly, but I'd likely be running and hiding in my kennel all the time.  I haven't figured out what toys are for yet.  I think they might be pillows for naps.  When I'm excited I sass my foster mom with my cute little aroo.  Mom doesn't know what I'm saying, but she laughs when I do it!  I haven't learned that leash thing yet.  So far I think it's scary so I'll need you to help me learn that it's ok.  Til then I'll need a nice secure yard so I can do my business.  It doesn't need to be big because I'm a tiny little girl.  If you have a quiet home and can be patient with me then I think we could be great together. I can found running around my home doing zoomies and jumping against my foster mom's legs begging for attention. I love getting hugs and pets and scratches.  I get the cutest full body wiggles!  I do get a little mouthy because I get a little over excited.  I don't bite down I just find your hand or arm sitting in my mouth haha!  Need a kiss?  I can be persuaded to give you one of those too.  This super happy confident girl is how I am with my doggie friends around.  When my doggie friends aren't around I'm more bashful and unsure.  Because of this I currently ask for a doggie friend in my future home.
