Story
Daisy is a 6-7 year old schnauzer who is the most gentle, well behaved girl you’ll meet. Weighing in at 16 lbs, Daisy loves to spend her days napping, going on walks, and just lounging around the house. She’s well past her puppy days but still has a lot of years (more than half of her life!) in her. Daisy walks great on a leash and has no issues. When the foster took her to the vet, she sat quietly and patiently for her turn. She did not bark or even acknowledge the other dogs or people. Just sat at the fosters feet and looked around in curiosity. When she was given her first bath with what looked like for the first time in years – she was INFESTED with fleas and had so much dirt she could have filled multiple bowls with it. She sat quietly in the tub while she was scrubbed down and didn’t even blink an eye when she was blow dried afterwards. Daisy is SUCH a good girl. Her favorite place to lay down is the sofa where she can nap for hours or watch TV. She is kennel and house trained. She does not mind other dogs and has met inside kitties and has no issues, she just leaves them alone. Her ideal home is one that is more calm and quiet where Daisy can spend her days relaxing and being the best girl she is. She does not require much – she is trained, gentle, loving, smart, loyal, and a very laid back middle aged doggy that would love to find her forever home. If you’re interested in adopting Daisy – you must fill out an application at www.pawsitive-impact-animal-rescue.org Daisy is heart worm negative, current on bordatella, rabies and parvo/distemper. She is current on heart worm prevention, dewormer and flea/tick meds. She will be microchipped, spayed and have her health certificate from a veterinarian giving her a clean bill of health.

Story
We have a transport where we will be personally taking our dogs on to their new adopting families leaving in March 2025 from Southern California where we are located to the East Coast. Surrounding states will be added to our route as needed ☺️ We would love to add Roxy to our trip for the right home 💕 As always, for peace of mind for our adopting families we never ask for ANYTHING up front. Adoption fee/travel costs are always due when we arrive in person with Roxy in hand ❤️ Meet Roxy ❤️ She is a 2 year old miniature schnauzer. She weighs 18 lbs. Yes, she is full grown and at a very healthy weight. She is spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped, had a thourel exam with our vet, and has officially been cleared to find a home all her own 😊 She is house trained, and goes out throughout the day if she needs to when asked. She will simply stand back if she doesn't need to, and will wait for you to close the door and come back to snuggle with her ❤️❤️ She is crate trained, and will sleep in the crate at night if it's avaialble for her. She will put herself to sleep if the crate door is open. She is also amazing on a dog bed in the home, or in your room if that's what you prefer. She is extremely well behaved, and will lounge anywhere there is a comfy place to lay ♥️ She has not been in bed with us, so if that's something you would like to have her do, I'm sure the transition wouldn't be difficult whatsoever as she is that easy going!! She is leash trained, and loves her walks. It's been very chilly here, so she hasn't been able to do much walking in the time she has been here with us but will definitely enjoy the warmer days to come getting to stroll around again venturing out into the world anyway she can ❤️ She is AMAZING with other dogs and cats alike. She is VERY calm natured, and serene tempered. She is not high energy, or high maintenance whatsoever. She is a girl who likes to hang out, and be lazy around the house 🙃 She does get small spurts of energy and will run around the back yard, but after a few laps she is right back inside in her comfy bed again 😂 She REALLY loves her naps, especially falling asleep to a favorite tv show ( yes, she watches tv!!) She is NOT a barker, and is overall very quiet. She will only alert you of unfamiliar sounds if you didnt investigate it yourself and yes, she will give you time to do so. She has full faith that her human will keep her safe, but is ready to jump into action anytime 😂 She is a very kind hearted, and SWEET dog. She loves everyone, and while very quiet and carefree when meeting anyone she doesn't know, once she opens her heart to yours you will have gained an extension to your heart you never knew was missing! She is a very special girl, and one you want to have in your life 💕 She is amazing on road trips, and would love adventures into the world (even if just around town!) She does very well at the groomers, and loves her spa days so it's always a very happy day for her when she realizes our trip into town leads to one of her favorite places ☺️ Her owner couldn't take care of her moving forward financially as they lost one of their main income sources forcing them to have to sell their home, and downsize to something more affordable. With all of the changes happening in their lives, they knew it was not fair for Roxy to have her life feel so interrupted while theirs was turning upside down. They loved her immensely but wanted her to have a more stable life where she could feel secure and safe again ❤️ Her adoption fee is on our website at the bottom of her adoption listing at https://www.breadoflifek9refuge.org/post/_roxy-1 It covers all of her vet costs which included a fecal test to rule out any worms (which came back negative,) and a thourel exam with our vet. She has a sensitive stomach, so we are very strict with her diet which means no treats outside of her main food, outside of a few veggies here and there to make her feel like she isn't missing out on anything ❤️ As always her adoption fee also goes back into the care she has received while with us here, her grooming costs, and training we have personally done with her 💕

Story
Welcome Dooby to CCPAL Rescue. Dooby is a Schnauzer/Scruffy Terrier mix boy. He is about 1.5 years old. He weighs about 12 pounds. He likes being held and is a little shy. This boy had a very terrible person for his owner. She was a sexual deviant and he and the other dogs in this house were abused by this person. A good Samaritan stepped in and took all the dogs. Dooby was with foster care until she called CCPAL and we took them into the Rescue. He is a little shy and when he is scared, wants to retreat. He has a nice non-shedding coat and he is good with other dogs. He and the others in this group really are doing well and are responding to loving and very normal attention at the Rescue. They are fitting in well with routines and the schedules at the Rescue. The dogs will get daily cuddles and assurance that people are nice and most are very normal. Dooby would be great in a quieter home. I would say a retired couple or a single person wanting a rather quiet and non shedding companion animal. He will be getting his neuter soon and he has already gotten his toenails clipped and vaccinations. None of these dogs are fully potty trained but we will be working on really good schedules and crate training at the Rescue. He is currently in Texas at the CCPAL Rescue. His adoption fee is $400 and transport is $200. He could be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. . Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
