Story
Bing is the sweetest boy with the best underbite!  He is completely potty trained, he's great with other dogs and is very smart.  He loves to show off by standing on his hind legs.  He sleeps through the night and knows some basic commands.  So far, he has not made a peep at his foster home, so he is very quiet.  He likes to be close by his humans and enjoys a good belly rub.  Don't let his grouchy face fool you, he is a sweet guy with lots of love to show.  is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. (puppies under the age of 6 months may not be sterilized prior to adoption, if this is the case your adoption coordinator will discuss the process with you). To adopt or learn more about: , you must fill out an adoption application. To find the application, visit our website: WWW.SANDYPAWSRESCUE.COM ** PLEASE READ: If a dog/puppy is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. In some cases this dog may be pending an adoption already, and their profile has not been updated yet. Please note, SPR does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated otherwise. All breeds listed are educated best estimates by transferring shelter staff, our volunteers or our vets. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them the All American MUTT. Our dogs are rescued from various situations (kill-shelters, owner surrenders, strays, etc). It is most likely that both their parents were strays and mixes of some sort. If you are interested in this dog, you MUST submit an application. Sandy Paws Rescue does not a have a public shelter in Mass, so there is no building you can visit without an appointment. Our dogs live in private foster homes or boarding kennels down south until adopted, and foster care homes through out MV, Cape Cod and other parts of MA. A majority of our dogs are adopted/spoken for prior to transport and release from state mandated isolation. To learn more about our rescue, adoption fees, and procedures, review the list of FAQ’s on our website at WWW.SANDYPAWSRESCUE.COM **The FIRST step in adopting an animal from our rescue is to submit a completed adoption application. Story
Meet Sadie Mae! Sadie Mae is about 2 years old, currently 16 lbs, and she may have some Schnauzer in her mix! In her foster home, she is working on her house-training, crate-training and leash-walking. She could go to a home with other dogs, cats and/or kids 10+. Her foster says, "While I've only had Sadie Mae for a few days, she seems to be warming up quickly. We cannot do much because she was just spayed. She loves to be held close to you. I sing to her and pet/scratch her and she just melts into me. She is so starved for attention and loves it. She is not bothered by cats, even when they came right up to her. She is excited about other dogs, but has not really initiated play. She barked a little as dogs walked by, but I think it was out of excitement and interest. She are her meal near another dog and it did not bother her at all. Once she is healed up and feels more confident, I think she will be an active and fun loving member of the family. She will definitely need leash training. Between her shyness and recent surgery, I did not want to traumatize her any more than necessary by attempting the leash more than one time."She is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on October 28th. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises.-Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt.- More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com
