Story
Kona is a 9-year-old Miniature Schnauzer mix weighing only about 30 pounds. With his long white and tan coat, he's quite the handsome fellow, and he's also quite the good boy on the inside. Shy at first, he warms to friendliness quickly and, as the smart boy he is, you'll find him eager to learn. You'll love having this boy as yours, and he'll love being yours. (posted 1/27/25, ME) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **January 27, 2025, 12:50 pm

Story
He's small, between 13 and 15 pounds, and yet he's filled with a kind of joy you don't always see these days. And because he's so small we would prefer him to go to a family without children under 10. At 1 ½ years old, Bama is a Mini Schnauzer/Yorkie mix wearing a long and scruffy tan and white coat and looking out at you with big eyes! He's outgoing, and sweet but can also be shy when first meeting someone. What a sweetheart this boy is! Bentley is a total sweetheart. Unfortunately, his owners had to move and could not take him, but Bentley is happy, friendly, affectionate, gets along with all people (including kids) and with other dogs. He loves walks and sniffing in the yard, and as an added bonus, he sleeps through the night in his crate. He is perfect! Story
Lark has really blossemed in her foster home! She's a chill road trip companion, struts down the street on walks like she owns the block, and is completely housebroken. She'll even ask (politely of course) to pop outside when she needs a potty break. Lark's ideal morning routine includes a leisurely stroll, wholesome breakfast, and then a midmorning nap. This little lady is great with other dogs and has top tier leash manners. She loves exploring her foster family's yard and conducting a thorough investigation into all novel scents. We think she may have some hearing loss. Lark is perfect for someone looking for a calm, peaceful, and ridiculously cute forever companion! Lark is approx 12 years old and 16 lbs. Fostered in Great Falls, VA Please apply to adopt at MirisHaven.org

Story
❗Current Location: in a foster home in South Korea❗ • Personality: She's sociable and energetic. She adapts to new places right away and loves to reach out to new people and friends she meets. She knows how to say hello to familiar people and friends. She loves to play with other dogs and loves to play with people. She picks up on new training quickly, so we think she would make a great dog for a family with a good understanding and training knowledge of dogs. She's a bit of a sneaky prankster right now, so she can get into trouble, but she's affectionate, gentle, and full of energy. • Affinity with -Cats:She is currently living with cats in a temporary foster home. She is not aggressive with cats, but she is very interested in them, so if you have a cat that likes dogs, she would be fine. -Dogs: She is currently living with the dogs in her foster home without any issues. They play well with each other, are socialized, and warm up quickly to new dogs they meet. -Adults/Kids: She is very fond of people and loves to be petted. She warms up quickly to people she meets for the first time. • Shedding: Moderate. There is shedding in certain periods. Her fur is best brushed daily with a silicone brush. • Walking Manner: She loves to go for walks, both familiar and new, and prefers to take fast, wide, territorial walks (rather than slow, sniffing the trails). He also loves to run in the park, but will sometimes try to run outside if there is no fence. she is fast and has a lot of energy, so she loves to run around in large parks and meet people and dogs. she also loves to go for walks in the mountains, but she has a hunting instinct and is interested in small snakes, rodents, and birds. • Housetrained: She goes potty on pee pads and highly prefers to go outside. She can chew on wood and plastic furniture and will grab small items that fall on the floor and play with them. She's very playful and will run around with you if you have a like-minded friend in the house. • Separation Anxiety: She's always been around other dogs, so we can't confirm, but we think she'll be fine on her own. • Bark or Howl: She barks briefly when she hears strangers outside. There is no howl • Carsickness: She had drooling at first, but now she rides well.

Story
Tiny Cutie Pie is a sweetheart of a dog! Her world was turned upside down when she lost her lifetime home when her owner had a stroke and could no longer live at home. But notwithstanding this huge loss in her life Cutie Pie is doing great in her foster home. She loves to cuddle and is wonderful with everyone she meets including children. She is also housetrained. She is good with other dogs but would prefer a home where she does not have to share her people. If you are interested in this precious little dog, please let us know.
