Story
Lettie is a 7-year-old Schnauzer who has truly mastered the art of calm companionship. She’s officially retired from toy duty and now prefers to spend her days quietly supervising the household, enjoying gentle pets, and accepting treats.Originally transferred from another shelter and now back with us, Lettie has shown herself to be a friendly, steady, and treat-motivated girl. She listens well, walks politely on leash, and doesn’t mind being picked up for a quick cuddle break.Lettie does best if she is the biggest dog in the house. Larger dogs overwhelming her, and because of that she is not a good candidate for dog parks. She would thrive in a home that respects her space and sets her up for calm, positive interactions. We have seen her interact with children as young as 10 years old. She does incredibly well, trusting them as much as the adults. If you’re looking for a loyal, snack-loving companion who’s equal parts lap dog and self-appointed hall monitor, Lettie is ready to settle in and make herself at home.

Story
Jax is a 5 year old male white mini schnauzer. He has lived with us since he was 8 weeks old. He has anxiety and would be better suited in a home where there is not alot of action going on and someone can be with him more than we are. He needs someone who can devote time to working with him and is patient with his anxiety. We feel like he'd do best as the only dog in the home but he can be with other dogs too. He's never been around cats. We have teenagers and he's great with them and has been around small children but is scared of them so small children won't be a good fit. All that said he is actually the sweetest dog and super cuddly. He just doesnt like alot of coming and going and house guests. It would have to be the right situation for him to be in or it won't work. He isn't aggressive but does bark alot when he's worked up. He is house trained very well and kennel trained. If this sounds like a good fit please reach out. We won't let him go to just anyone.
