Story
Hi everybody!!! My name is Molly and I am a 7 year old 13 lb mini schnauzer....and part of the FABULOUS FIVE group!! My brothers and sister (also up for adoption) were rescued from a breeder in the Keys that was not so nice and quite frankly we wouldn't be here today had it not been for some quick life saving rescue efforts!!! I am the shy one of the bunch but once I know you I am all yours---heart and soul---I just want someone to love me to the moon and back...and I promise to do the same to you! I love being with other 4 legged friends but no idea on cats...never been around one. Foster mommy is introducing me to lots of new things and it's all exciting to me. I was little timid around that big Frosty the Snowman thing (see pic) but once I realized he was safe I became quite interested in knowing what he was all about...he was cute but not very lively LOL. Anyways if you'd like to make me part of your forever home please fill out an application at www.floridacockerrescue.org ADOPTION FEE $395.00

Story
Meet Charlie, the affectionate snuggle bug seeking a loving home! He thrives on companionship and trust. While he will bark at new dogs and people, he calms down with time. Charlie gets along well with other dogs but should be in a cat-free home. He can be a bit hyper around kids, so an adult-only household is best. As Schnauzer, he has a unique thinner coat and has had past dietary issues, but he’s fine with a quality diet. He has a few missing teeth, so softer treats are ideal. Charlie is potty trained but needs a clean area and takes his time outside, requiring extra care. If you can offer him love and patience, he will reward you with cuddles and loyalty. Requirements for adopting Charlie: - A fenced yard. - Must take him for short walks. - No other dogs or cats preferred. - No children under 16. - Must be home most of the time. - No renters, please. - Must live in Florida, ideally within 60 miles of Sarasota-Bradenton. Adoption fee will be donated to shelter of your choice.

These pups are in Arcadia, Florida too!

NAME:  Carlin BREED:  Schnauzer/Brussels mix SEX:  Male COLOR:  brown/tan AGE:  DOB 10/22/22  WEIGHT:  13.5 lbs FOSTERED BY: LOCATED IN: NOTES FROM FOSTER FAMILY: Carlin is a very loving pup.  He does extremely well with women but is a little skittish around men.  He can become very jumpy if a man raises his hands and may start to bark and run away, with the right training will do well.  He has not been evaluated around children yet think he will be fine. He plays well with other dogs and might even be happier in a two-dog home, especially if the other pet likes to play.   He has not shown any aggressive behavior, but he is a puppy and will do a quick door dash if you’re not paying attention. He travels in a car very well.  He walks well on a leash and only needs a little training on pulling.  He knows “Sit”, “Down,” and “Come” – but mostly when it comes to food.  We believe he has the talent to be well-trained, as each day he shows progress. He LOVES toys and treats.  And at night if you give him a bone, he will lay right beside you on the couch, giving you those warm eyes and many kisses.  He does GREAT sleeping in his bed for a full 8 hours. Carlin would make a great pal! Carlin will need regular grooming.  You can see his "before" picture with his long hair when he came in.  He needed a fresh start and was trimmed down to allow the hair to grow back properly.   NOTE:  Local applications are given first priority and some out of town areas will not be able to be processed. I've got a heart full of love and a head full of mischief. I'm a bit of a goofball, always ready to make you laugh with my antics. Curiosity? I've got it in spades! I love exploring new places and learning new tricks - I'm pretty smart, if I do say so myself. Energy? Oh, I've got loads! I'm always ready for a good game of fetch or a long walk.   I’ve heard them say I remind them of a pogo stick, whatever that is.   I can be a little bossy with other dogs sometimes, but hey, I’m just trying to keep everybody in line.  I promise to fill your life with laughter, love, and a little bit of bossiness. Adopt me, and let's start our adventure together! Kona is an Alpha female and does not do well with other alpha females. Does fine with male dogs.
