Story
Welcome Lollipop to CCPAL Rescue. Lollipop is a 7-week old Chihuahua mixed pup. She has a fluffy coat and may be a Schnauzer or mini Terrier mixed in. She is adorable. She is the biggest sized girl in this litter. She is active, inquisitive, social and very sweet. She likes being held and is good with the siblings in this litter. She goes on a wee pad and because of a very nice family they have some small toys that they like playing with. Lollipop is small enough to travel with you in a doggy carry case. She isn’t too vocal at the moment but she is a Chihuahua so we do suspect she will be moderately vocal. She will be a small dog full grown. She should be 10 lbs or less. She is getting her second Distemper vaccine and will get her 3rd before she is spayed and ready for her forever home. She would be best with children over 8 due to her small size and trust in humans not to hurt her. She would also be best in a home where the person doesn’t work away from home 8 hours a day because she will need to finish her puppy training and be socialized regularly to keep the great personality she now has as an adult. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Buddy, the Charming Miniature Shnauzer Buddy is a captivating 11-year-old Miniature Schnauzer, weighing 17 pounds and boasts a charming personality. Buddy loves people, does well with dogs and cats and is suitable for kids 8+ (due to his age).  His current foster says he loves being around "his people" and is completely housebroken. He enjoys leisurely walk, playtime, and cozy naps. Despite not knowing his history, he prances like a younger dog and responds to his name, showing his eager and playful personality.  With his affectionate nature, and low-shedding coat, Buddy is ready for his forever home. Apply today to meet this distinguised gentleman!   Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2216154##

Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $275 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Looking for a friendly, fun-loving, and energetic companion? Toby is here to win your heart! This 1.5-year-old Schnauzer-Poodle mix is full of life, curiosity, and love. At 22 pounds, he’s the perfect size for both adventures and snuggles – a sweet little package of joy, ready to be your best friend! Toby is a joy to be around! He’s all about playtime, whether it’s doing zoomies in the yard, exploring with his dog buddies, or tagging along for car rides (where he LOVES watching the cars whiz by). With a soft coat that makes him even more cuddle-worthy, he’s always happy to be close to his people. Plus, he’s crate-trained and has done amazing with his housetraining, especially with a good schedule! This pup already knows “sit” and has a great recall. And while he may pull a bit on the leash when he’s excited (there’s so much to explore!), he’s learning fast and just needs a little patience and guidance. Toby’s friendly personality makes him a great match for families, singles, or anyone who can give him the love and exercise he craves. Another dog sibling would be a bonus but isn’t necessary. If you’re an active person or family looking for a loyal, loving, and playful companion, Toby is ready to join your pack!  Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. November 14, 2024, 11:23 am

Story
This lady was found wondering in a neighborhood. No one claimed her so she was brought to us. She is a sweet, sweet dog. Very friendly, likes to play and loves attention. She gets along with other dogs but would probably prefer to be the only one, or with one other. She is with a group of pups now and likes to have her own space. She may be house trained but we aren't sure. She does well on a leash and good in a car. She will need regular grooming per her breed mix. She is just a wonderful dog that would do well with any family. A yard is not necessary for her but some outside play and walks are. She is a favorite and we know a family is out there for her. She is located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders

Story
Barney is a sweet and very affectionate 7.5 month Wired Hair Terrier mix boy who weighs around 40 lbs. He loves to be petted and be around people. Barney plays well with other dogs and likes squeaky toys. He walks pretty well on a leash but pulls a bit so a harness works best. Barney is okay in the car but does get car sick. He was rescued from a kill shelter along with his brother Fred. Both boys are ready to find their forever homes now! Barney is neutered, fully vetted, heartworm negative and microchipped. If you’re interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at https://packleadersrescue.com/adoption-application/
